This is my pair. Compared to others I have seen this is what the inside looks like, No swoosh stitching, just down the lace holes from this angle. Just for comparison sake. If you say fake or legit a pic of yours would be nice but a general poll would be nice

so we can compare apples to apples.

As much as I see people going on about the leather quality and comfort, I don't think Ive seen anyone mention how the black ankle leather is still pretty stiff, and since these are higher than most ones, I feel like it would make for some discomfort in that area... Anyone find this? Does this part break in at all? Just my observation after trying them on. Haven't actually worn them yet, but upon trying on it seems like breds and Lance Mountains still have these beat in the comfort dept.

I compared my CHIs to my lasers which were both produced this year from 'remastered' molds/specs (I don't have LMs) ... The collar is stiffer but my experience with 1s (for the most part) is they break-in nicely. Also, I think the height profile is on par with high 1s ....

What's the legit end dates? Is there only one or a couple? Depending on size?

One pair: 12/10/14 - 2/6/15 (HOH) / Second pair: 11/26/14 - 1/30/15 (FA) Both 10.5

And no inside swoosh stitch on either..

They are definitely much higher than the Lance Mountains, and the ankle collar is a lot more stiff. I didn't realize the Lasers were butter till it was too late. Just felt up the size 12 that was sitting at a local spot the other day. Might even be softer than chicagos. Regret not getting a pair to repaint.

Yeah the lasers are definitely butta, and got me geeked up for the CHIs and SBBs. Some NTers have grabbed discounted lasers and thus I've been on the lookout for a pickup to do a custom - SBB or Frag colorway. The only downside for me about the lasers is the icy soles it's just not my thing and living in NYC a hard thing to maintain.

Laser 1's are def in my rotation due to their softness and comfort level. The LM's leather is legit but not as comfy as the Chi's or Laser's. I sit and wait for a good deal for a second pair of laser 1's, they're still a FSR on footlocker/eastbay. My only qualm against customizing the laser's is the icy sole, doesn't flow with whatever paint scheme to go with unless you dye the soles

It's on page 1 of this thread. The person did a good job taking good comparison photos (he obviously can't account for the variability among all the shoes). Anyhow, the GM/UA pair he showed had black stitching on the inside. That lead other people to check their pairs. The majority of people noticed their pairs had red inside stitching (not black) or none at all on their pairs. Up until this point, he's the first one on this thread to have black inside stitching and have a legit pair.

If other people have a black swoosh stitched on the inside let NT know.
Just to clear out that the pair has one shoe and one side with black stitching. the rest sides are normal (i guess they run out of materials :P

If you guys have a legit pair (with receipt) and have black inside stitching let the NT community know about it. It'll definitely help in the long run when legit checking other members' shoes.
this is what i posted earlier..picked up pair on my own from store. the pair has 1 shoe with one of the 2 sides black stitching while the other side and the right shoe have the normal red stitching.

Yeah you did. But no one else has mentioned black stitching on their legit pairs. That's why I want to hear if other people have the same thing.

according to the "guide, there should not be any internal swoosh stitching.

Looks like the inside stitching may be related to production date? Didn't even know you can get a pair with each shoe having different dates.

That is I. I don't observe shoes that closely, to be honest. I put the shoes on and that's about it. Not sure how this is related to me saying comparing leather in a car to shoes though. That's like comparing a home to a napkin.

No, but it just shows to many people your ineptitude when it comes to comparisons with certain sneakers. You have the right to comment on whatever it is, just find it ironic how you are clowning on someone else for comparing leather to leather, albeit much different circumstances, when you yourself just said you don't observe shoes that closely...:lol

comparing leather on a shoes to a car!

I think leather is a lot easier to compare than some mold, especially an OG mold.

Agree to disagree. Sorry I can't remember a mold from '92 and laughing because someone compared leather on a shoe to leather in a car.

Leather is leather son. OBVIOUSLY, as I stated it is different circumstances, comparing a car's leather to a shoe's leather, but the guys point was that dudes were getting all geeked over the leather quality of these recent 1's as if it was the best leather in the world or something :lol

and it's not about "remembering" anything about a mold from 92'. It's the internet bruh. There's pictures everywhere, including in the Bordeaux VII thread..how obvious does it have to be? :lol
