NIKE ACG + NIKE TRAIL thread

and i think thats why the trail line is actually built and better equipped and has the upper hand because its main purpose is to actually be worn for performance while ACG has kind of been casual wear first then performance if needed

but the amalgamation of both lines will benefit both, they can combine ACGs styling with Trails performance quality

If I can ever acquire that ACG Top… I’d feel like Jeff Hardy :emoji_joy:

is there a huge gap in quality between acg and the trail line? they kind of feel the same to me, acg might have better functions or gimmicks but remove the label and im not sure id be able to tell the difference outside of ACG fitting oversized most of the time

i honestly never had an issue with nikes whole running line, i still have running pants and tanks from 5-7 years ago that i use to this day and those gets worn at least 6-7 months out of the year and washed every week during those times

ive have some pieces from northface and adidas that has fallen apart in a fraction of the use in comparison
I most definitely prefer the Trail apparel and shoes more than the regular ACG line; its not so damn boxy and oversized, like you mentioned. Also, they just keep recycling old shoe models for the ACG line, nothing original since the Mountain Fly and the Air Zoom AO.

They better not bastardize the Terra Kiger, Wildhorse, and Trail Pegasus, those are Trail staples.

Got my brown Stussy Baltoros in a 11.5 which is what I get in goadomes and these mfs run small as hell def should of got a size 12.

I wonder if they are lasted or constructed differently than the GR release. I was hesitant to get the GR baltoros. I'm slightly on the wider side and was worried that they would run small especially with the toe box change. But I found them to fit great at my TTS 11. I want the pony goadomes but not sure if I should go TTS or half size down/up.

Your GR BALTOROS was good money TTS?

I personally size down half for my Goadomes. Def don’t recommend for these Stussy Joints lol.

Surprisingly yes. I had to go a half size up on the mountain fly mid. Should have gone a full size up I think but the half up works. TTS to half up on the mountain fly lows. For further reference, even though I'm slightly a wide footer I still go half down on Timbs, AF1s, and most New Balance 990 series. Never did goadomes so I'm going to try a pair on a Footlocker or something so I don't play myself on the upcoming release.

They say comparison is the thief of joy....so I refuse to compare. I am happy with my pair 😂.

But foreal, haven't found OG photos yet so I'm not sure which is closer to the OG. I will say I like the shape of the 2025 retro better, especially the toe box. But, the height, color saturation, and tongue branding on the 05 is better. I'm not really pressed on missing Nike Air because it's usually more of a gimmick than actually adding cushion. I'd be more pissed if the 05 had Zoom Air and these didn't.

Might cop if I can get an idea on sizing.
I wear a Small in most things but for ACG, that thing ranges from S being WAY too big to XS being slightly too tight.

gonna probably buy a new pair for daily wear. my go to has been vomero 18s. gonna choose between zegamas, peg trails, or gortex vomero 18s (or maybe vomero plus).

zegamas any good? they look nice. or maybe some mountain flys?

Can we get a release date already 🤦🏿‍♂️.

Also, tried the ACG Phassad at the Nike store. No bueno for anyone thT doesn't have a narrow foot or low bridge. TTS was uncomfortable with the shroud snapped and they were already tad long. Couldn't imagine a half or full size bigger would fix one problem without causing a other. Sucks because that shoe is so dope to me.

As a kid in the 90s any sneakers with a shroud was fire to me. Reebok Shrouds, all the gloves, t bugs and these among several others.

i remember buying these with my discount at a local shop when they dropped and then leaving them in the box for many years. i wear em once in a while. it’s not like they’re super comfortable but the grip is pretty good on wet sidewalks. the buckle can be hard to undo sometimes too. i like that they still look kinda interesting. i can’t recall if this was during the errolson era or later. nike komyuter.
