Agreed. I have a pair that I got around the same time for about $75. Still wear them and love them. Not sure how the peg trail 5 compares. Seems like the Zegama 2 would fit similarly but be a softer ride. Though I find these super comfortable for long trips with lots of walking and have no foot fatigue.

The Zegama 2 and the Pagasus Trail 4 GTX look so similar. What's the functional difference? ZoomX in the former and ReactX/gore-tex in the latter?

The zegama midsole is much chunkier than the peg. I personally like the peg much better than the zegama 2 for casual/walking/traveling. The sole on the zegama is much better though. I have a bit of heel slip with the zegama 2 as well, which I don’t have with the peg.

Thank you for sharing. So you prefer the peg b/c of the zegama heel slip or other factors as well? I had to go a full size up in the peg probably b/c of the extra heel pad. Is the zegama more TTS?

The Zegama midsole feels stiffer and more responsive, if that makes sense. A bit more bounce when you come down on it, whereas React tends to feel a bit softer (at least in those variants). The Zegama 2 has been one of my favorite Nikes in a while. Great upper, solid Vibram sole, and responsive ZoomX. Maybe a bit tall, but it works well for walking and hiking, trail running, and even road running in a pinch.

Question for the Mountain Fly aficionados out there: I've worn my 2023 Khaki pair probably close to 200 times. Anyone have any idea how many wears these things should last? I have a 2023 Black pair on deck but starting to wonder if the Khakis are never going to become unwearable...

damn...which outlet...the livermore one always has garbage...the san leandro one is alright

I wonder if the merger between ACG and Trail will result in higher quality products or if Trail will influence ACG and the quality for ACG will drop.

is there a huge gap in quality between acg and the trail line? they kind of feel the same to me, acg might have better functions or gimmicks but remove the label and im not sure id be able to tell the difference outside of ACG fitting oversized most of the time

i honestly never had an issue with nikes whole running line, i still have running pants and tanks from 5-7 years ago that i use to this day and those gets worn at least 6-7 months out of the year and washed every week during those times

ive have some pieces from northface and adidas that has fallen apart in a fraction of the use in comparison

i think trail is nice quality, i feel acg may be better tho...

trail feels more like gym/exercise clothes...acg feels more like clothes you can daily...acg is definately more stylish

regardless of the branding, i would never wear that shirt with the holes...not for a race or for halloween...that thing looks ridiculous

acg vs trail? i doubt i could tell the difference. in quality but my peg trails have been great and i’m guessing they’re more comfortable than mountain flys? does the trail line have boots like balroros or goadomes? seems like the differences are stylistic more than quality?
