I donā€™t even have to google the ravens record to know that they did not experience 5 losing seasons after their SB win lol.

1 season sample size from 2018-2019, yea the ravens were better with Lamar. However, Itā€™s such a ridiculous argument and convo to suggest that the ravens ā€œhave won moreā€ with Lamar when the guy he replaced took them to an AFC title game his rookie season and also won a SB. Something that Lamar hasnā€™t done yet

Bruh you goofy. They went 8-8 after winning the SB. They went 5-11 in 2015. Is that a losing record?

That Ravens team back then had a all great defense. Flacco was never in any MVP convos. So again you either don't know this or the hater in you got you acting like Joe Flacco was a HOFer.

1 losing season in a 5 year span? 8-8 isnā€™t a losing record..

This convo has never been about a matter of skill comparison or MVPā€™s, you initially mentioned winning. Nobody is arguing that Flacco is better and more skilled than Lamar. But as of today, the ravens won and accomplished more under Flaccoā€™s tenure than they have with Lamar so far.. Itā€™s probably the reason why the ravens are hesitant to make him the highest paid QB because they have a ton of talent on the roster, but Lamarā€™s play in the playoffs hasnā€™t equated to winning ball. He isnā€™t the sole reason but the QB play will always be evaluated the most.

Iā€™m goofy, but you canā€™t comprehend something this simple. Itā€™s not difficult.

What ton of talent do the Ravens have on offense? Itā€™s ok that you donā€™t like Lamar but youā€™re just talking out your *** now

I think Baltimoreā€™s hesitation prob has to do with salary cap and how much do they want to allocate to the QB position. Paying Flacco didnā€™t work out well for them

And thatā€™s not to say they couldnā€™t make it work. We know that ā€œthat cap is CAPā€ but owners/GMs will continue to use it as an excuse not to pay more than theyā€™ve budgeted for a roster. If they wanted to make it work they could

Well for starters they have one of the best offensive lines in the league. Ronnie Staley is one of the best LTā€™s. JK Dobbins averaged 5.7 YPC after two years of missing time. Mark Andrews is a great TE. Jury is still out on Bateman, he was playing well before he got hurt. Duvernay is limited as a full route runner but heā€™s one of the best deep threats in the league. ****, even Likely looks good along side andrews. Theyā€™ll probably draft another receiver in the top 2 rounds. The talent is definitely there from a passing attack.. the ravens were just a run heavy offense under the roman and Lamar duo

Not to mentioned theyā€™ve had elite defenses for every season since 2018 with the exception of last year cause of injuries. The ravens easily have a SB caliber roster

The Ravensā€™ staff were playing it slow with Dobbins all season. Thatā€™s disingenuous. Bateman was hurt most of the year. Duvernay ā€” one trick pony. Letā€™s be serious. Their most consistent passing option was Andrews, who was also banged up this year.

The Ravens donā€™t have a SB roster offensively. They have a weak passing game and their best RB was recovering from injury and the team was very cautious with him. They needed Bateman to take a leap and he hasnā€™t been good or has been injured.

The 4 best teams in the NFL all season long will advance to the Conference Championship next week....

Bills at Chiefs
49ers at Eagles.

*side note - Chiefs and 49ers have been on a collision course since their first meeting in the Super Bowl 3 years ago.

Hurts and Allen will eventually have their time.

Ravens DO NOT have offensive talent. Hell no!
Who on that roster is comparable to AJ, or Jefferson, or CeeDee, or Chase or Deebo or Diggs?
Since he's been there, he hasn't had a guy like that.
Same team that brought in DeSean Jackson to help Lamar. Stop it!

Gonna say my 2 cents about Lamar

Love the dudes play making ability
Love the dudes loyalty to his teammates
Love what he does for the kids and community

Hate the fact that he was so reluctant to change his approach to playing quarterback
And wasted the chance to win possible back to back super bowls
But I understand his reluctance

Heā€™s young and still has a lot of football left and will have at least one Super Bowl victory in his career

You asked me about talent tho and all the guys I named have a good potential, or are already good at what they do. Not every receiver is a WR1, and being a deep threat like Duvernay when you have large arm talent with a QB like Lamar is valuable.. Again, Bateman looked great before getting hurt

I also think that thereā€™s an argument to be made that we donā€™t know the ravens full potential from a passing attack standpoint, because Roman never really opened up the playbook. Is that because Lamar is better suited as a runner than as a passer? Idk, only the ravens know. Theyā€™ve ran more than theyā€™ve passed in every season except last year. Even Marquise brown criticized it during his last season with the team

Idk if all those guys you mentioned would even be the same player in the ravens previous offensive system
