I dont get how it can't be acknowledged that he's regressed since peaking during his MVP season. Mounting injury history + style of play...I keep hearing about this whole, "he played in a pro style offense at Louisville." That's fine, but the pro style never changed his style though. And why would it when no one could stop it?..not even in the NFL, which is why he won MVP. No one seen anyone like him, but since then, he hasnt really improved to such a degree that makes me understand why everyone else is so convinced. He was very pedestrian before getting hurt...he's deserved of the benefit of doubt, but I think he's overrated right now. The WR thing....I suppose. I understand it, but see it as a crutch. Hopefully he goes somewhere that will suffice so we can find out once and for all.

I hope the Ravens sign Josh Gordon to fix their WR situation...that'll get spacedoodoo spacedoodoo all the way fired up.

Josh Gordon, Josh cribs, Josh sargent, Josh okogie, won’t matter.

Lamar is 1-2 in his starts against the Steelers with 4 TD’s to 6 INT’s while being sacked 16 times. RGIII and Huntley have just as many wins in a ravens uniform

The interesting thing for me is that he's been the inverse to Hurts and Allen. They both steadily improved then took a huge jump to be considered MVP candidates. Jackson winning MVP in his 2nd season set his trajectory. He has lots of time still, but regression is regression.

But you don't tell the whole facts. If you did you wouldn't be look at as a hater.

The whole facts is that he has continued to regress since his 2nd year as a starter in the NFL. The whole facts is that he has continued to dip in his accuracy % every season since his MVP season. The whole facts is that he can help his team win games in the regular season, but is 1-3 in the playoffs and has more INT’s and fumbles loss than total TD’s. The whole facts is that the ravens have drafted a total of 11 offensive skill position players in 4 drafts, two of which were 1st round picks. The whole facts is that since Lamar being a started, the ravens have changed their entire offensive identity to suit his strengths as an runner and limitations as a passer.

Dude is an incredible athlete, but there’s more to be desired with his arm which doesn’t make him a complete QB

Statement win by the higher-seeded teams, does it continue tomorrow?

I could see the Cincinnatu pushing the Bills, but I still think the Bills pull it off since the Bungles have alot of Oline out.

Not a soul talking about Lamar in the playoff thread:

spacedoodoo spacedoodoo :

Have they won more or less since he became the starter?

You’re using 1 season as a sample size? Yea the ravens went from 10-6 to 14-2 in Lamar’s first year as a full time starter.. but you do know that Flacco lead them to a Super Bowl victory and the ravens made multiple AFC championship playoff runs during his tenure right?

Odd question lol

I think the Bills run away with it. The betting line is fishy and if you consider that Cincy just played b2b against the Ravens, coming in banged up on the Oline...had the quick lead against Buffalo before the game was called, I think Buffalo takes seriously the threat this time from the start.

I have Cowboys/Niners as the best game of the weekend. Niners win with a FG at the end.

nahh man, my heart and receding hairline cannot take a nail biter. i need the niners to be running away with it by early third quarter

Is this man serious?

That was 2013 when they won the Super Bowl. You know Lamar's rookie year was 2018 right?

So what happened in those 6 years in-between? This is blind hater talk my _.

Man hyping up Flacco to knock Lamar. Looking real funny... Flacco ain't never been in no MVP convo.

Niners Niners win!!!!!!
I emphatically agree.

You’re trying to make it seem as if there’s no nuance whatsoever when it comes to winning in this context, because the ravens increased in regular season wins when Lamar took over as the full time starter. Lamar replaced Flacco as the full time starter, however Flacco helped the ravens win championships something Lamar hasn’t done yet.

So again, silly question to ask whether the ravens have “won more” under Lamar because the answer isn’t as black and white you’re suggesting it to be
