wait people don't think Warner is a HOFer? well damn, I thought he'd make it easily.

:lol

You may think its crazy but look at Cunningham's 1998 when he had similar weapons to Warner

60 pct, 8 pct TD pass rate, 2.4 INT rate, 8.7 yards per attempt, 4.5 sack rate, 106 overall rating with a 13-1 record

Warner's 1999

65.1 pct, 8.2 pct TD pass rate, 2.6 INT rate, 8.7 yards per attempt, 5.5 sack rate, 109 overall rating with 12-3 record

Them metrics look pretty damn similar

Trent Green had a good season with that Rams supporting cast......Trent Green and I'm pretty sure Warner is eligible this year. I simply can't believe that the voters are blind enough to put Warner in 1st ballot.

Theres alot players who were great for a short period of time but I cant overvalue a quarterback who was great for a few years when there's alot All Time greats with longevity at other positions who had to wait

He was. No disputing that, but if Trent Green was able to do what he did with that supporting cast, does that not put into perspective how good a group Warner was working with? Gannon was doing the same things with an older past their prime supporting cast.

Bucs are trash..."I've heard nothing but rave reviews about my dookie stain QB" that QB is garbage and haven't proven a got damn thing...you riding hype like you've been doing for 4 years now...WHATS NEW PUSSYCAT WOAHHHHHH OH WOAHHHH

Our Oline is revamped and better than the 2012 Oline we fielded...if Sam Baker is healthy ...that's more than enough talent for Matt Ryan to put your chump bum trick floozy team in a trash can.

"falcons have no TE" listen up Jezebel...falcons are going into this season using more 3 and 4 wideout sets...so the only thing TE will be getting used for on the team is blocking and red zone...TRY AGAIN.

I can't wait to see mike Evans and Vincent "slow as ****" Jackson get shutdown by Robert Alford and Desmond Trufant.

LOL @ amping Michael Johnson..you defense is not the bengals sir...we'll see if he has success on the Yampa Bay Sucs

:lol damn I missed seeing your WWE Smackdown style posts

Kurt Warner took two teams to three Super Bowls, won 2 MVPs, won a SB, all while starting at 28 years old.

His per-year numbers are on par or vastly superior to other HoF QBs.

Outside of longevity, there is zero knock on Kurt not going first ballot. He was that good.

How do you feel about Tom Brady?

Remember Marc Bulger?

He had one season above .500 with that supporting cast.

The Cardinals finally had a winning season, at least.

But yeah, it has nothing to do with Kurt Warner.

See this list? This is the MVP list that matters. Not some MVP from a random magazine. I see Rich Gannon's name on their one time. Randall Cunningham is unlisted. Yeah, their careers definitely mirror Kurt Warner's.

I understand that

He was great for 2 years with the St Louis Rams, he also had a historically great supporting cast , I could be wrong but I cant think of who had a better cast except maybe Peyton

Then he had a few years where he wasn't just having a down years, he was getting benched for Marc Bulger, Josh McCown and Matt Leinart

Like WTF a HOFer getting benched for those gusy?

Then he came and was good for couple of years with Arizona going 19-12 and making it to a Super Bowl, where he played well except for throwing a game changing pick six

Kurt Warner is a first ballot HoFer, I have nothing left to discuss or dispute, I'll see y'all at his induction ceremony. Drinks are on me.

I'm a big fan of Kurt Warner. He seems like a real stand up dude but man, he had a big gap in his career where he did nothing. I would like to see him get in but if he didn't I wouldn't complain.

I honestly don't have a problem if he gets in. I think he is even though he shouldn't. My problem is him getting in first OR second ballot. That's ridiculous if he does, it took arguably the second greatest receiver of all time, Cris Carter how many years to get in?

Hey!

Trent Green went 2-3 because their defense was awful that year :lol

Trent Green and Kurt Warner 2000 season stats are pretty comparable

Also I don't think Trent Green was as good as Kurt Warner but the stats are pretty comparable
