nicks probably already on season ending IR
I don't know why people can't bring up past SB teams if they are knowledgable about the team and their path to the championship. These fans are often more familiar than some 'fans' are with more recent titles
im all for knowing the history of the team you follow but if youre claiming championships for seasons that you did not witness or were not even alive for, foh (not you specifically just in general). i dont think you were born in the 70s so for example the steelers have 2 superbowls you can claim, cowboys have 3, niners have 5, broncos have 2 etc.
This makes no sense. Franchises exist outside of individuals, it's ridiculous to say that fans can't celebrate a team's history simply because they weren't alive to watch them. If that were the case then why celebrate tradition at all? Why not completely transform a team's image and identity every decade or so to bring in new fans? It would make records and titles meaningless if they couldn't be cherished for generations to come.
tell me about that 1st raiders championship, those crutial wins and losses throughout that season, where were you week 1, week 12, how was the weather outside, did you watch games solo or with friends and family, did you see that 3rd string wr make that catch to keep a drive alive?, how did a key injury influence that season? you either lived it or didnt. if you did then as a fan claim that championship. if you didnt live it how can as a fan claim that when you were not 'there'.
So I shouldn't like Jim Brown?
my point was in regards to claiming championships and not about liking a player from a different era.
No one is talking about pretending to have been there for the ride. It's about honoring your team's history and respecting what defines the team today.
But I can understand why you wouldn't want to do that. I don't think I'd want to experience the Broncos history before 1997 either.
@franc you being a broncos fan i understand that its hard for you to go back and read the history and watch highlights of the previous broncos super bowl appearances before sb xxxii an sb xxxiii
If that's how detailed I have to remember it I can't even claim 40 or 43 then. I'll adjust my sig
Do Ravens fans claim the Colts' first Super Bowl?
It is theirs and not Indy's, correct?

Honestly don't know
Minus play action passes, Foster, Daniels, and Dreessen got a lot of Andre's tds, especially when it came to the redzone. Thanks Schaub.
Once Houston got inside the 20.
It was either run with Foster.
Catch Daniels over the middle.
Throw a pick.
That's why Dres TDs haven't been high over the last 3 years.

And once again, [@=/u/37902/Deuce-King]@Deuce King[/@] is giving his version of a Rick Ross Breakfast Club interview continuing to not speak on the matter at hand. Regardless of the QB here, Andre would more than likely still be highly productive. And if he's not in a Texan uniform, I wouldn't have any doubts that he'd still be one of the best WRs in a different uniform.
......but he IS in a Texan uniform whether he currently likes it or not, therefore he needs to be judged and evaluated accordingly. His numbers are going to continue to slide be it his fault or not, especially since he now has a QB in place that I doubt even you can name.
Dre's loyalty to that team and fanbase unfortunately cost him production numbers that just might have propelled his career to another level. Now he finds himself wanting to leave a situation that he's bound to for quite some time. He's stuck, like a turtle in a shell.
Calvin Johnson had 5 touchdowns in 2012.
He sucks
Receiving yards are more indicative of a receivers skills than receiving touchdowns IMO.
