News on #RG3 continues to be positive today inside team facility. Looks like he'll miss 4-5 weeks, as has been reported.

Who the hell knows? Vikings said today he is back with the team and will suit up. Don't know if the NFL will let him or what's going to happen. Not sure if he's gonna be suspended soon or in a few weeks.

I think the NFL suspends him this week.

The scoop from @JasonPhilCole matches what I have been hearing - no fracture, no massive damage in ankle.

Week 8.

I wish I could know how the players feel about RG3.

He's got their respect. Guys like London Fletcher have come out and said so in the past.

@nfl: Post-MRI, #Chargers RB Ryan Mathews could be out 4-5 weeks with MCL sprain (Per @RapSheet).

How did I miss this?

Laid out. :lol

@AdamSchefter: Saints RB Mark Ingram is expected to miss about a month with a hand injury he suffered Sunday, per source.

There's also this:

Update from ******** sources on RG3: "The tests results are not even back yet. All reports are bogus." #******** #RG3

Respect as a fellow football player yes.

There's no way these dudes think highly of a cornball with more commercials then actuall games played.

From what I've seen on the field, read online and heard on the radio. There's plenty of players and personnel in that organization that aren't fans of Bob Griffin.

ESPN just said he's currently undergoing tests so no one knows what's going on. Could be a fracture or joint damage. Either of those, he would be out the whole year.

Either way, I'm sure Gruden is happy. Made his decision much easier and won't catch any heat for having Cousins in.

And that's all he needs.

The other stuff, who cares? You think every guy in the locker room approves of what the next man is doing off the field? Hell no.

The "leaks" last year were from Shanahan to Sally Jenkins, etc. I don't put much stock into the rumors when you have guys actually on record dispelling them.

Just came across these tweets:

John Keim ‏@john_keim 4m

Rg3 says MRI showed no fracture

John Keim ‏@john_keim 4m

Griffin was upbeat. Called it "positive news"

John Keim ‏@john_keim 5m

Griffin said dr Anderson will read the MRI and after that they'll know how long he'll miss. Said if needed surgery would have had it today

Mike Jones ‏@MikeJonesWaPo 5m

RGIII said news was "positive. He was watching over me."

He dodged a bullet, it seems.

*edit*

DeSean Jackson's shoulder is reportedly 'sore' but has no serious structural damage http://on.si.com/1qF58ZY

Ain't a chance in hell he was gonna miss the game on Sunday. Can't wait to see him back at the Linc. Hopefully he goes HAM.

Couldn't see DeSean missing that game. Take what ever pain killers he can take and he'll be out there.

I think you misunderstood me.

When I said as a football player, I was talking about the NFL fraternity, not his on field acts.

And yes, some off field actions resonate the locker room.

RG3 literally hasn't earned a single rep since he's been in the league.

His rookie season was a rookie season means zip to me.

I don't think you understand what you type sometimes.

Mark Ingram out for 4-5 weeks. Disappointing to hear. I like that kid.

Walter Thurmond had pectoral surgery and is done for the year.

I don't think you understand what you type sometimes.

I understand completely, I just might be mental :{

He's literally on every NFL related commercial simply because white America sees him as non threatening.

I know of 2 Bengals who speak openly like this about RG3, and they speak for a lot of blacks in the L.

Maybe I have a deeper hatred in RG3 then just football but **** it.

If you need further explanation just let me know papi.

Shanny's plan worked out in the long run. Homebody created that QB controversy :{
