Just like those jump balls stafford throws into quadruple coverage, he put the ball where only Calvin Johnson could grab it. That's what his skill-set will do for ya. Hell of a toss by Stafford, IMO.

a lot jobs are obligated to help by putting you in some type of rehab before firing an employee.
How is 1 year even erroneous though? any other job that requires drug testing would have resulted in termination from the first offense.
nah....this is reaction to seeing the vid and all the backlash for the 2 game suspension. if he had hit him with 10 or more games initially, he'd still be a RavenHe could have been banned for the season the 1st time and once people saw that video it didn't matter; the assumed lifetime suspension was coming
The Purge 3 storylineVilma would kill Goddell if given the chance.
Lol....with those guys looking better, Dallas wasn't fine.Durant played like crap, McClain looked better as well as Carter. We should be fine.Cowboys just lost another defensive starter
unless you have him in fantasy, it doesn't matter. he needs a qbJosh Gordon getting a clean slate is the most important thing to note.
No more potential "perma-banning" hovering over his head...
Is that FF or AT?
Is that FF or AT?
receivers are rarely wide open in this league. the throw was equivalent to the same back shoulder throw that other qbs make in order to get the ball to a receiver that is covered. great throw from stafford. no defender had a chance to pick that off. the worst result for that pass is an incompletion.
No dude, it's a smart way to watch football.
Again, Eli was running TOWARDS his receiver, who was open, and threw the ball right to his hands, but the safety made a great play, INT. People clowning the hell out of Eli for it.
Stafford did the opposite of all that, only his receiver is incredible, and made a great grab. Matt placed the ball well, surely, but he also lobbed a ball over two defenders while backpedaling. If one of those safeties/corners made any sort of play, guess what would be happening for Matt right now. And as we have shown, this is not even close to the first time Stafford has stupidly thrown a ball into a group of defenders, only to have Calvin make a miracle happen.
It was a stupid throw, with a great result.
Favre throwin a missile thru 3 defenders into the waiting arms of Mark Chumura for a touchdown is a stupid throw, with a great result.
Bottom line, it's unintelligent quarterbacking.
Looking at that play, do you think that ball could have been picked? I don't. And if it can't be picked it can only be a td or an incomplete. Would you rather him thow it away which would have gotten him the same incomplete pass i mentioned if CJ hadn't caught it or would you rather he take a hit? You're trying to compare it to all this other random stuff and NFL history when that s*** doesn't matter. Stafford saw that if he threw the ball where he threw it that CJ could make a play on it or it would fall incomplete. What happened the last 80 years doesn't matter.great throw from stafford. no defender had a chance to pick that off. the worst result for that pass is an incompletion.
Pretty amazing that NT has people arguing against 80+ years of NFL history. You do not throw across the field. You do not throw across your body, backpedaling. You do not throw to the right, when your receiver is running to the left. You don’t throw into double coverage. Surely you can get away with one of those on specific plays, say a back shoulder throw, or maybe a busted coverage that leaves someone all alone across the field. But all 4?
Not a coach on the planet would be ok with that. The result was great, the play was stupid.
LeBron James takes a spinning, one handed, left handed, off the wrong foot, 35 foot 3 pointer with 17 on the shot clock, over 4 defenders, that’s a stupid shot. Just because it goes in, don’t make it a good shot, it’s a stupid shot, but with a great result, from a great player.
Same thing applies to Stafford in this instance. Tremendous play. That never should have been attempted. Credit them for pulling it off, but it doesn’t change the fact it’s a stupid attempt, and as I have clearly outlined, it is not the first time Stafford has thrown a terrible ball, only to have one of the best receivers of all time pull a miracle out of his ***.
What are you guys going to advocate for next? Running backs running backwards? Cornerbacks lining up with their backs to the receiver? Olineman starting off plays laying on their backs? Linebackers playing without helmets? Let’s get creative NT. NFL history be damned, let’s change the game.
Typical New Yorker.
