Terrible move by Marvel and even worse they are throwing his name under the bus in the press release. They are really mad that they have an actor who has a vision and won't be a yes man. Continuity and character development is crucial to comic book films and the Hulk franchise has been anything but that. They were upset that he wanted to delve into issues such as suicide in the film in the case of Bruce Banner. I really want to see the director's cut of the Incredible Hulk because the footage that was cut could have made it better than the Dark Knight and Iron Man which both came out that summer. If Marvel is afraid to explore darker themes in their films as seen with butchering Norton's vision after they allowed him to write the script, it raises the question as to will we see them explore Tony Stark's alcoholism?Originally Posted by GotHolesInMySocks

The Avengers is going to be one big cluster @+%! of big names, explosions and piss poor story like Iron Man 2.
