Instead of posting this quote both in the X-Men and Spidey threads I'll just post it here

Spidey spinoff films that seem to still be a go all leading up to a big movie like Marvel did with Avengers isn't a surprise. Hope they ditch all that trash ASM stuff if they can.

At this point I think FOX is taking a risk thinking their F4 reboot will do fine enough for them to already be planning a crossover with this semi-X-Men reboot.

this series good?? for some reason I was turned off to it or just not interested at all.Could be because it kinda reminded me of hunger games(which I'm sure it's nothing like) It's got Kate Winslet, whom I'm a huge fan of, but never really saw her fitting into these kinda films.

The first movie was basura and lame. Only thing that peaked my interest in the sequel's trailer was that new brunette I saw.

You guys are crazy. I dont see anything in any of the trailers. 1st or 2nd movie, that would posses you to go and see em.

I'm not gonna watch it in a theater. I'm just into brunettes and the new one in the trailer looked decent.

Channing Tatum Wants a GHOSTBUSTERS Spin-off Film with Chris Pratt
http://geektyrant.com/news/channing-tatum-wants-a-ghostbusters-spin-off-film-with-chis-pratt

Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is currently developing an all-female Ghostbusters reboot for Sony Pictures, and it seems like most fans of the franchise aren't too excited about it. I do have some interesting news that might spark some interest in you, though. Channing Tatum is looking to do a spin-off of this new reboot that would star himself and Chris Pratt, which is something I would actually like to see!

According to emails that the Daily Beast has gone through, Tatum pitched Sony executives on the idea. This is what he had to say about the franchise as a whole:

“Let us show the world The DarkSide and let us fight it with all the glory and epicness of a HUGE BATMAN BEGINS MOVIE. I know we can make this a huge franchise. Fun adventure craziness. COME OONNNN!!!”

I have to say, I love Tatum's enthusiasm. It seems like he brought in Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) to produce the project as well, which is another insanely smart idea. Now here are the details of the film that were outlined in an email by Hannah Minghella, co-President of Production for Columbia Pictures:

“So… in a curious turn of events - the Russos and Channing want to develop Ghostbusters as a vehicle for Channing and Chris Pratt to do together. The Russos, Channing and Reid have been brainstorming ideas and want to create a whole new mythology that would support multiple movies (the way that Nolan reinvented Batman). To be clear - the Russos want to produce (not direct) and while Channing and Chris are looking for a movie to do together they haven't mentioned this to him yet because they weren't sure how we'd react. They want to make it simultaneously super scary while also super funny. They love the idea that they are mortal heroes who are believers in the paranormal and the only people who can defend mankind from a paranormal threat. I know we're mid negotiations with Paul [Feig]. I'm not sure whether we'd ever develop two different versions simultaneously. Joe Russo is open to the idea that both movies could be developed in partnership so they compliment one another within the same Ghostbusters universe. Apparently the Russos are very close to Paul and Joe suggested Paul could be attached to direct both. Personally I think it's possible for the female version to co-exist with this other version so maybe they're not.

I do like that they want to make the movie super funny and super scary. I'll admit I'm intrigued by the idea, mostly because of the people involved. Tatum and Pratt as Ghostbusters in a story being developed by the Russo brothers could be great. But I still have that nostalgic attachment to the original films, and I don't want to see it get a crappy reboot. Maybe it won't be crappy, though. Maybe it will be good. It's obviously too early to tell. It seems like these movies are moving forward regardless of how the fans feel about them, so maybe it's time to start be a little more accepting of all this.

On top of that, Ryan Gosling also wants to be a part of the Ghostbusters movie currently in develiopment. This bit of news also comes from the Daily Beast, which also reveals that Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence are on the director's wish list of actresses to join the project. It was also recently revealed that Rebel Wilson has met with Feig about a part.

I'm curious to see how this all shakes out. Do you think this Ghostbusters project has potential?

And possibly Ryan Gosling... might as well make it Magic Mike 3.

A Ghostbusters man-thong uniform probably wouldn't be too functional. If they face Slimer they'd get ectoplasm all over themselves.

But the admission would be through the roof and the panty dropping in theater will be soaked just like Slimer.

EXCLUSIVE: Viola Davis Bags Amanda Waller Role In 'Suicide Squad'

http://www.latino-review.com/news/exclusive-viola-davis-bags-amanda-waller-role-in-suicide-squad

The final superhero movie scoop of 2014!
Wanted to finish the year off strong with a scoop I been tracking for a hot minute.
According to sources, the lovely Viola Davis (How To Get Away With Murder) has bagged the role of major DC Comics villain and Prison Warden Amanda Waller in David Ayer's upcoming Suicide Squad. In the comics, Amanda Waller is a former congressional aide and government agent often placed in charge of the Suicide Squad, a semi-secret government-run group of former supervillains working in return for amnesty.
Now, the key here is that the role is hers provided that the filmmakers can work out her TV schedule, which will be no small feat considering how big of a hit How To Get Away With Murder is. If it works out she will be joining Jared Leto as the Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Tom Hardy as Rick Flag, Jai Courtney as Boomerang (or Captain Boomerang), and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.
Oprah Winfrey and Octavia Spencer were reported earlier as contenders for the role.
