News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

The put Pieta(sp) in Margiela shoes tho? He the softest ***** in any action movie. The **** they give him Margielas for?

Those better have been explosive laden arrows. Marvel better work out a trade. Give em Hawkeye for the girl who is supposed to be dark haired and olive skinned.

Just got done watching cap 2 again and I've compiled a list of simple reasons the movie did not suck as opposed to the majority of other marvel movies (not just the ones made by marvel, just any movie with a marvel character in it)

1. ONE SIMPLE PLOT

2. No ever present comic relief character

3. A bad guy that actually tied in with the character and not just there to do "bad things"

4. Quick, not over the top, not thrown in your face jokes

5. An actual end fight scene took place.

6. Finished it's own story and didn't just serve as a "to be continued" or "remember this movie?" movie.

7. Was not iron man 3

8. No worthless characters (maybe that one chick was. The neighbor girl)

 Was not iron man 3

Literally the only needed reason for anyone to be okay with this movie. I wouldn't even consider Cap 2 all that great, but if it's better than Iron Man 3, it's fine by me.

Iron Man 3 was a ******* travesty.

The Rock should play all parts in that movie. Cuz hes the only reason to see it.

Disagree. Have yet to see a Rock film worth watching, except the rundown.
Hmmmmm

Thinking....

What about the one with Stifler and Rosario Dawson? or is that the Rundown? :lol If it is then what about the one with Johnny Knoxville and killing all of those casino owners?

I'd also ask about the one where he was actually killing ppl cuz some gang killed his brother and then there's that Snitch movie which was pretty good despite the wild plot that a father basically goes undercover to deal drugs so his son can have a lighter sentence. I think those 2 were especially worth watching.

the rock can not play a heel in movies, just like in wrestling he will be cheer...

It only works if the story is right. The Rock's personality as a wrestler has an easy alley to being a heel cuz if you ignore the coolness he can be an a-hole. He's been a heel in wrestling before but it's usually the times where Stonecold is hero/face, that one time the Undertaker was a biker, when ppl are more sympathetic with Mankind, and maybe one or two others.

I specifically remember The Rock being all types of a heel when he was starting out with "The Rock persona" was a bit chubbier and rocking those button ups :lol

I do wonder how he'll take on being a super villain, and specifically Black Adam.

Walking Tall was really good. A good director and the right role can make the crappiest actor look pretty good

rock was an awesome heel in wrestling so i have no doubt he can be a very good villain

dont let those douchey mark wrestling fans fool you

NO :lol

But if that's how he ultimately kills Thanos I wouldn't be mad or surprised :lol

Just learned of that move the last time it was mentioned in one of these threads and was seriously surprised Gunn wouldnt include that.

Batista Bomb or **** Gunn.

Lol. Imagine if Rock did play Drax and did The Rock Bottom on Ronan. I would see that movie once a week.

i remember when wrestlers first started acting in action movies and they would awkwardly throw in their finishers :lol

Rock was good in Be Cool too.. Don't sleep on him :lol he had that really, really bad 3-4 year run but outside that most of his films have been watchable (mainly due solely to his presence)

I didn't add Be Cool cuz it's really not a Rock movie.

Pain and gain is actually a pretty good movie

cant do it.. I've drawn my line in the sand when it comes to Michael bay...

I am disappointed in all of your who continue to support him

:rollin I forgot about that scene :lol

I specifically forgot it was Samuel L teamed up with The Rock. All I remembered was The Rock cameo.

I'm watching that clip like what movie is this? 8o :lol

:lol

Just the other day I was thinking again about a Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat movie/trilogy for w/e reason (think cuz the Street Fighter movie was on tv) but nah I wouldn't want to see Bay do one.

Honestly, I'd rather see Snyder direct a Mortal Kombat movie or dude who directed Cap2TWS.
