News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

Speaking of animations.... It's like Hulk: Agents of SMASH?

USA Today reports that Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors will premiere on Disney XD on August 31, with a focus on a “Spider-Verse” storyline, including Miles Morales, Iron Spider, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir, and, yes… Spider-Ham! And yeah, that sure looks like May “Mayday” Parker as Spider-Girl. This new arc is ”going to really show how important Spider-Man — and by extension Peter Parker — is to the entire universe we’ve built,” said Stephen Wacker, vice president in Marvel Television’s animation division.

I haven't watched any of these animated super things since B:TAS and Beyond

I keep hearing DC is doing work. Any of them around that level? Or they're good for what they are?

Spectacular Spider-man is the best adaptation of Spidey ever. Young Justice was also great. Not surprising cause Greg Weisman was behind both those series. He was responsible for that old Gargoyles cartoon back in the 90s :hat

While we are on the spidey subject. What universe is Edge of the Spidey-Verse 2 in? Just curious where they are yanking Gwen Stacy from.

More animation news?

:lol Another Batman cartoon? Beware the Batman just got cancelled (or demoted?), why do they keep making these films with very little support and then cancel after the first season?

Beware the Batman was canceled. The episodes are on Toonami. Never had a toyline so it was doomed from the beginning.

Looks like the Batman Unlimited is already an existing toyline, the logo and drawing/figures the same. I guess they are making a cartoon for it or the banner might just be for the toys itself though it doesn't say "unlimited" in the toys packaging.

Funny enough, the Beware the Batman action figure actually says Batman Unlimited.

Odd indeed.

TMNT was renewed for a fourth season. Haven't seen any of two or three.

They're about to finish up 2 right now, so I guess ratings/sales have just been that good. Which is great news as it's probably the best cartoon I was today.

And I really wanted to give Beware the Batman a chance but after 6 episodes, I just couldn't get into it. I would've kept watching new episodes though, but I guess it makes sense to scramble a cartoon from an existing toyline already since that's probably what plagued BTB.

finished XMen Evolution S1 last night, found it to be pretty good.

i then started on Wolverine/XMen and this one i think is even better. sucks its only one season.

dont think ive watched Spectacular SpiderMan either ima check that out, looking forward to that SpideyVerse on August 31st aswell.

I'm a little more open to Affleck as Batman now. With that and Gal Gadot being the "odd" castings I've liked DC's choice of actors for this superfriends brew-ha-ha, especially Jesse Eisenberg as Lex. I think that's rather interesting.

Really? I think Momoa is the only thing they did right for sure. Jesse Eisenberg I dont like but if he succesfully makes the role his own, then cool. Don't see any potential in anyone else so far.
