Let's see how Guardians handles the cosmic side of things. I'm expecting a Richard Rider appearance as well...

I just find a little kid having a recurring role weird unless Bruce just keeps constantly being threatened or kidnapped for being uber rich, which would get old quick or just change his origins if he keeps getting exposed to villains whether it is before or after his parents gets killed.
They're referred to by their status though. What else they calling her by? Do you address the General of the army by General/Sir or by Bob?
Adam Warlock ends up being pretty tied to Thanos. He'd need an origin. He isn't on the level of ppl like Hawkeye and Widow. He's well above them. Also Hawkeye is a lame human, nobody cares about his origin. BW in the other hand has at least had rumors for a solo movie.
That's after the character is introduced in story that you know they're real name. When random lower ranking officer is talking to another one aint no guarantee they're using the last names. It's the same way when ppl refer to the president. They're not always saying Obama, sometimes it's POTUS.They're referred to by their status though. What else they calling her by? But you know General Ross's name.
If we are talking about popularity I dont think Warlock was above BW at any point in time. Only if we are talking about awesomeness.

I'm not talking about popularity so no BW isn't above Warlock.
I'm not talking about casual audiences or popularity though. That's after the character is introduced in story that you know they're real name. But these casual audiences care more about popularity than anything. Marvel doesnt know how popular Warlock will be with audiences. So no need for his backstory. There are lots of good characters in the MCU where they never delved into the backstory.

Wow. I finally realized why people kept calling Michelle, FLOTUS. I thought it was her nickname in college or her poet name or something. Never really thought about it.
Considering both Marvel/Disney and director James Gunn felt a thirty-second preview during this month's Super Bowl wouldn't do justice to the very first visuals from Guardians of the Galaxy, it was assumed that the first trailer would at least arrive next month, closer to the international release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. However, today the Alberta Film Ratings has revealed the teaser trailer is coming sooner than we thought. Coming in at 2 minutes and 23 seconds, the teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy should debut next week, if not sooner. Therefore, expect some promotional efforts very soon, maybe during the Sochi Winter Olympics.

i waited for a long time. just staring at my computer screen for the rest of the picture to load up.
im guessing the issue is that most people dont know **** about the Guardians.also how would a 30 second commercial not be sufficient enough to give us a url to the actual trailer, like everyone else did.
