News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

as a comic book movie, TDK cant be touched storywise. despite how much people loved the joker storyline, that movie belonged to harvey dent.

TDKR however has waaaay more replay value

Begins> tdkr

By a wide margin at that

I can see how you can make a slight comparison to what happened to Bane and the Mandarin. Batman had already overcame Bane before Talia's reveal. It changed nothing that Bane did. Just different components working in the same engine. I'm not gonna lie though, it gave me pause the first time I saw the movie but after that I was cool. This type of deception was established in Begins anyway.

IM3 was terrible even outside of the Mandarin so I'm gonna chill :lol.

Does anyone else feel that if they bring back mandarin and make him as bad as the comics that IM3 will be a better film? Almost like it lays the foundation that Mandarin really is a manipulative mastermind?

No, they need to just forget that anything in that movie happened. Including super power pepper. You couldn't make that movie worse if you wanted to

I think had they kept him true to the comics it could be a lot better. What made the movie stupid is how they revealed him to be an actor. **** was wack, bruh. :| :| :|

I never said anything about ppl expecting an Asian to play an Asian character.

The Mandarin IS a racist caricature though. There's no denying that. Over time they've lessened that but his origins are clear. No surprise they went even further and changed his name in the Chinese version.

What you talking about doesn't seem to be what I'm talking about. I don't see how casting an Asian man instead of Sir Ben Kingsley would've made what they did with fake Mandarin in IM3 much better than what was done. In the movie they never even established that the Mandarin was Chinese, he was just a terrorist. So no matter if the guy was an albino black Russian it still would've been batter

Just cuz you hated the twist doesn't mean everybody did or that the majority did.
You know what's funny about that? That's EXACTLY what Nolan did in TDKR. Bane is busting **** up for 3/4ths of the movie and even despite claiming shorty wasn't Talia when she was cast before the movie she shows up as Talia at the end claiming this was all her master plan to honor her father and Bane just becomes a little ***** easily defeated by Batman :lol Yall don't even see the irony in this argument.

Also your example to make a comparison to what IM3 did really isn't equal :lol Funny but c'mon.

Yes the twist of TDKR was pretty crappy....reason why TDK to me will always be the best.

Still doesn't top what was done in IM3....the second they unveiled Kingsley as a cheap actor, I wanted to walk out the theater....movie from that point on was pure garbage topped off by Pepper killing the bad guy, cinema travesty...the protagonist should always defeat the antagonist!

Once you get passed the cool cgi, I rather watch ice age over it

The people at Marvel Studios should've known better. Who over there ok'ed the dumb decisions in the im3 script?

Marvel Studious always gets praised like they bat 1.000 all day long but seriously, IM2 and IM3 were both terrible films, it just a cash cow so some feel or see it better than it really is.

And that is their biggest franchise.

Nah they've stumbled plenty of times....with IM all three of them they just wasted away villains....great castings as far as actors but terribleeeeee scripts, not one of his villains has been worthy of being in a movie Ben Kingsley being the biggest joke of all....I don't even know how he agreed to it

IM is simply design to make Stark the omnipotent alpha superhero of all heroes he must have it all, looks, charisma, funny, money, power, everything....even have to dumb down his enemies to make him even cooler...it's a joke.

Well people would have you believe differently, people always saying DC needs to follow suit, Fox/Sony should just give up their rights back, etc...

Thor 2 was great though, Cap2 looks promising and I like what I am seeing with GotG, though I am not sold it will be as big of a hit as most believe it to be but I have been proven wrong many times over so we'll see.

Thor 2 was seriously my favorite of all the avenger movies. Dead serious. Thor 2 have it all

TDK is the only one worth praising imo and that's mostly has to do with Ledger's Joker.

BB and TDKR are nothing to talk about.

And TDKR was the worst of the 3.

The irony of your last sentence. Finding out the boss is the henchmen is much different than finding out the Henchman is a paid actor who wasnt a danger at all.
They didn't find out that a henchmen was a paid actor they found out who they thought was the boss was a paid actor and actually just a henchmen to be clear.

But again we seem to be talking about two different things here cuz I'm not saying the twist was great or good. So I don't see the irony cuz it's not something I'm even defending or arguing for. All I pointed out was he tried to use the what if example with TDK while ignoring that's exactly what happened in TDKR.

IM 3 was hot garbage but made TONS of money. As disappointed as I was at that film, I was still floating on the high that was Avengers. Avengers was so good that IM 3 was allowed to be garbage. In my mind the only true iron man movie is iron man 1. That's the only film you need to see for his introduction into the the MCU. The other 2 movies are, like stated earlier, cash cows.

Transformers 3 is in the billion dollar club and it might be in the top 10 worst movies I have ever seen. Hollywood just has marketing down to a T. Now they want Michael Bay and Megan Fox to ruin another of our favorite franchises. It's a cash cow to them. They don't care if they ruin our favorite franchises or not

Marvel Studios has only made a few great movies. IM, Thor 2, and some would argue The Avengers. Cap and Incredible Hulk were good. The rest have been o at best.

(Edit: I guess 5 out of 8 released so far isnt bad)

Transformers 3 is the best transformers of the series though. So what's that really saying...

Transformers 1 was actually enjoyable if my memory serves correct. Havent seen it since. Transformers 3 is the worst one imo. But it is really close between 2 and 3. What ***** me up is they film transformers in Chicago and pretend it is Washington DC and some other countries and ****. I can clearly see iconic landmarks ya tools.
