New York Yankees Official Thread - RIP Former Manager Petey Rose

Yankees bats been quite; only noise was the game winning hit and the Gleyber HR; this team has trouble contributing to a rally besides getting walked in

3/19 with RISP in the series ....same **** different year with these fools in the playoffs

Gleyber had another good game. Then killed me on that first pitch swing in the 9th. I knew that **** was coming the way he lifted his leg. He worked counts all series up to that point. :(

Also with Stanton, the fact that the whole organization told him not to bust it on the bases and then hang him out to dry media/fan wise kind of sucks.
They need to get that guy a specialist just to regain some mobility.

Yea the Stanton stuff is maddening. He's getting paid $30m a year, is healthy, and can't run past a jog? Something ain't right.

I mean I trust that he’s giving what he can. He’s been such a pro in NY. No matter how much people **** on him, he’s never done anything wrong.

If he is being told not to go full speed, it’s not his fault. But even then, it’s a multi-billion dollar organization, get that man to the doctor or trainer or whatever just to get his legs better. Which would make him a better player. If he’s doing what he did in the season with legs that can’t go, treating them should yield better production next year.

Just spit balling but if his legs can’t support full speed running they probably impact his swing too.

he looks more stiff at the plate this year - lower half of his bodywise - than any other year I've seen.

Jazz needs to chill with the sh*t talkin. No need to talk about how they got lucky and your better than them and expect to win. Just go do it :smh:

Didn't man for my words to sound like an attack on him, moreso on the situation. It doesn't make sense. Derrick Henry got 10,000 carries with people taking his knees out and he can still run but Stanton's legs are wound so tight he can't run? I've never heard of that before. The situation is maddening, not Stanton himself. One of those big brain guys needs to figure out what the issue is.

Agree, that was weak by him. They didn't get lucky. They just outplayed us last night.

I wasn’t taking it as an attack on Stanton. Wanted to provide more context.

need Judge to not suck. Fingers crossed.

Also Stanton gotta get that ball in the air. The rationale for him to be in the lineup because legs or no legs. If he gets ahold of one it’s guaranteed home run.

Would like Oswaldo in again tonight.

Ayy we agree on all counts.

I'll add that Schmidt needs to nut up. First postseason start and it's a massive one. Game 3 is so pivotal.

I'm going 5 RBIs minimum total for Judge and Stanton..... That's my story, I'm sticking to it.

(Until they go 2-8 with 2 singles and 4Ks with runners on, then I will backtrack)

i need this game for my sanity. i'm gonna wind up losing my job fighting with these Met fans :smh:

i cannot wait till these games are off tbs, can't hear anything

only thing u hear is the umpire and Costas babbling :smh:

Better bad luck for Soto and Judge than striking out.

Just get the bat on the ball, and it'll fall in more often than not.
