The only reason Romeo was on the team last year was that he was a package deal.
In order to get Demar Derozan to play for them they agreed to allow his best friend (Romeo) to be on the team as well, so I guess with Derozan gone now theycan get rid of Romeo

Well I didn't know it was a "packaged deal" I thought they were both brought in on their own merits but from what I remembered whenseeing youtube vids of the both of them...after seeing Romeo play, I wasn't extremely impressed and I was convinced I was a Division I NCAA baller as wellfor certain! Props to him for making it however he did (not gonna fight no one down) but when Demar decided to head to the draft, I also wondered, wellwhat's next, would he be able to ride out four years and eventually get drafted himself...if he did get cut, I guess that sucks

This is from the Arizona State game on the 2nd you can see him on the left.. Looks like he's still injured though...im hoping he stays around for 4 yearsand maybe gets drafted..he is on a full athletic scholarship though.

You could be right with Romeo being good enough to play D1 ball. I just remember from what I heard is that Demar said he would go to USC if they let Romeo playto. So whether he got on the team because of his own skills or because of that hookup I do not know. That's just how he ended up at USC versus some otherschool

well yea, I guess the pic above also shows he wasn't cut and I guess its a mystery with the real drafting by USC...and no matter what he's still aroundso should be ok skill-wise....let's see what happens with the rest of his collegiate career....we see the Kobe 4's also
