Are you dudes SERIOUS?

I guess that means Wade is close to MJ too, because the only person in Jordan's lane IS Kobe.

Wade isn't even better than Lebron.

Which part of this article is difficult to understand? The criteria for this list:

For one, the list is for 2010-11, so while past is prologue, it won't mean a lick when it comes to putting it all together for this season. Appreciate your history, veterans, but we're looking at who will bring the better game in two months, and not two years ago.

at bringing Jordan into this, like Dwyer is ranking these guys' careers. The list is about the best shooting guards right now.

Soo we all agree that this list is worthless, right? How can you predict the best SG for a new season without using past data?

I think the idea is that he's looking at what happened last year and factoring in age and whether a guy is improving or declining to make predictions for next year. But my point was that their overall careers have nothing to do with this, it's strictly about who's better now.

It's still Kobe.

That whole time the Lakers were still down by anywhere from 9-14pts

way to rally your team to victory singlehandedly. Lakers' fans are so hypnotized..

What does that even mean? This reminds me of the thread about whether or not Jeter could break Pete Rose's hits record, and the dude's only argument was "Yeah, but it's still Derek Jeter."

No ... he's answering your question for who's better now. Regardless, the answer is Kobe.

Thank you

. That Jeter example isn't even close to what I was getting at. Right now, Kobe is still better, even by the slightest margin. Kobe just averaged 30/6/6 during the playoffs. He's adapted, his game is different, but it's not any less effective then a couple years ago.
