How are you gonna big up players that play in your same city, same arena, same home court after they did something you couldn’t in making the playoffs. If you’re looking for the real Beta, it’s Bron. Dude is always trying to make himself relevant by commenting on provocative topics. I bet you that man didn’t eem hear a handful of Nipsey tracks before putting up his post acting like he was really with the ****s.

Dude is a straight up poser and then this ***** has the audacity to ruin my favorite childhood movie by making Space Jam 2. MJ had the top players in the league in the OG SJ, intense pickup games in a dome he had commissioned and one of the GOAT sneakers that came from that movie. Bron is just gonna have lame IG posts and a star-lacking movie in SJ2.

Philly’s success or lackthereof in the playoffs is directly predicated on how Simmons plays. The fact that Toronto can put a guy on him that can basically take him out of the game is not going to be good.

^^^ One of of my favorite things about Lou is that he truly seems to keep it 100 at all times. Plays bad, he owns it and doesn’t make excuses. Gives opposing players their due when it’s earned. He’s just a dude that knows who he is and what he can do and is totally comfortable with it.

And I really hope Clips hold on to Pat Bev. SGA is the future and present, but Pat is a big part of why the team had the grit and toughness they did. He was the spiritual leader. Want that attitude to stay even if we bring in a big FA.

zach lowe said it best, you can live with KD going off, but if steph is having a good game you are most likely getting blown out. His shooting enables his teammates in so many ways, which is why he gets doubled at the half court line and opposing coaches do everything to keep him out of the game

This is what people keep ignoring. Steph is literally face guarded the entire game sometimes. That’s the ultimate sign of respect. Also you can tell the folks that never really played ball seriously. Basketball is 5 v 5. Some of y’all think the NBA game is played like Myplayer in 2k. Steph opens the whole floor for everybody.

As an aside, browsing past espn the past few days, it’s somewhat disturbing to see the turnout for the nfl draft

These mfers are something else. Look like hundreds and hundreds of people crammed into the streets of Nashville just to hear some names announced. I guess it’s really that serious

Hopefully he asks for a trade to the Clippers

The masses don't acknowledge him as the best player in the world though. That's one of the main reasons he's dipping. Him leaving GS will restore competitive balance to the league.

I’m not trying to be obtuse here but what truly confuses me is if it ain’t KD.....then who is it? Are the masses still saying Lebby? KD is four years younger and been leading teams for years, more talented at this point, significantly better defender, eating at all three levels, etc. If you were ignorant enough to think he was beforehand, Lebby lost all claims to “Best Player on The Planet” when he said playoff mode was activated and he finished the season 37-45, only 4 games better than the 14th placed team.

Lebby is 3-6 against Western teams in playoff series and in his first full season in the West, he couldnt even make the playoffs. Think about all the Russ slander - KD carried Russ to a Finals at 25 years old. Couple years later had him up 3-1 against a dynasty. Joined said dynasty and folks are acting like he’s not a back-to-back MVP.

Well if you ask me KD been the best player in the world since 2017. But yea the masses don't want to give him credit as long as he's on GS, they ready to anoint anybody but him to the title it seems.

Key to the series for HOU GS is Eric Gordon. If that man goes off or atleast shows up HOU is very hard to beat.

IMO - I would say Paul being healthy (which I’m assuming he will be), Harden not having a breakdown and most importantly GSW’s big play. Capela has been going off and if they GSW struggles with the PNRs, RIP. I would like to see GSW win but this is the first time in since 2014 that I actually doubt them.

Ofcourse it helps, but HOU kinda showed they don’t NEED a healthy Paul to win.

Kinda just have to hit their 3s

Bron didn't shout out galinari?

I didn't realize montrezl is 25 already. So going into next season the clippers have a 33 year old Lou, 31 year old Gallo and Bev to go with 15 year old Sga. They're gonna really have to convince a free agent that they can win immediately

Been working overtime. Getting that Time x 1/2

Assuming CP3 is “good” I think it’s House and Rivers.

Those two are going to be tasked with basically being Ariza, but better. Take and make enough 3’s to keep the defense honest, and be able to contain on switches defensively

KD has never done what Giannis has done this year as an undisputed leader of a team

To win against who? Rocket truthers been saying that series is different last year with cp3

You went to the game last nite? :nerd:
