Ok.. and he had other options where he could have left OKC and still be a title contender, right?

Exactly.. I mean there were other options than the team that just won 73 games and barely lost in game 7 of the finals with 3 all NBA-ers already in house

Yeah I mean look at this list of budding superstars he could have assembled to make his own super team that summer.............

The dude did not wanna play with Westbrook anymore. So his only real choices that summer were either go play with the Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart led Celtics orrr join up with the two greatest shooters of all time and one of the greatest defenders of all time that he was all close friends with and go win a bunch of championships and not have to rely on iso ball to win games every night anymore.

I think he made the right decision.

No they didn't. They only needed someone who was a little better than Harrison Barnes. And even with Harrison Barnes, they most likely would've beaten the Cavs the following year.
LeBron played out of his mind that series and did something no one else did in any playoff series of any length in order to just barely beat them.
Kyrie had an amazing scoring series, one of the best if not the best ever for a second option in the finals.

9 'best out of 7' series out of 10, the Warriors beat the Cavs. 2016 just happened to be the 10th out of 10.

Durant's fraud legacy is being destroyed for winning with a team that is so good, people are legit discussing if they're better without him.
Boy y’all making a lot out of beating a Portland team who had no business being in the conf finals.
All I know is a 73 win team got washed and beat a one man team the year before.

outside of needing him to beat Lebron in his prime the Warriors dont need KD. although KD is still the best player on that team.

Team>Individuals

Imagine being told you aren't going to win a championship on your own podcast. And then being mad about the players that signed (Boogie, KD). Now losing to that team in a sweep when they (plus Iggy) doesn't play due to injury.

Also it seems like Portland's pinnacle of the season was the shot by Dame to send OKC home. That was their championship. The extra 11 games they played was like when the college teams play in Europe over the summer, but unlike them they are paid. Seeding enabled them to get to the WCF, but this is fool's gold more than anything. It shaping up to be first and second round exits from here on out.
