+750 seems far too unlikely of odds for Toronto to win the title -- when you consider Milwaukee is +150, even though I agree that Milwaukee should be considered the East favorite.

I just don't think they're THAT considerable of a favorite to beat Toronto, which is what those odds suggest.
Nah it just implies they have a better shot at beating GS than Toronto, if both advance. Which is true

TOR is like what, +250 vs MIL? They'll open up even bigger dogs against GS if they meet. Only reason +750 for TOR is enticing is if you think there's a chance Portland wins.

Yeah, this is basically what I thought. Kawhi legit does give you hope. But end of the day, if he ends up just only making it to the ECF like DDR, will he still be held that high, especially if he leaves?

we'll never know but i agree with you that fans will turn around quick when he decides to leave without making the finals.
all this is hopeful optimism that if they exceed past accomplishment that it'll give them a chance to resign him. sensible fans already knew from the first day that this could be a 1 year rental. Demar and Lowry maxed out and Masai had to do something to retool or reboot. i don't mind a reboot if he leaves, its better than what raptors did in the past just trying to patch things up during the Bosh era transitioning to early Demar era.

Can we get a list of lucky shots in NBA history? I’ll start:
