Sheesh I had to say oh my god out loud looking at those pics.

What I love about the Raptors move for Marc is that Embiid always kills Marc but struggles against Jonas

Embiid also always destroys AD but struggles sometimes vs Horford/Baynes. So please be my guest and trade for him this summer, Celtics.

Bucks Sixers gonna be a tough series but it'll be a fun one.

I want that one the most. When the top stars on both teams not even American >>>>>

Like I said....we avoid the Celtics in the playoffs we have a real chance.

Need us to get the three seed and the Bucks to beat the Celtics in the second round. Still think we can take the Raptors down if we match up vs them in the second round.

The Raptors traded this dude in his prime for washed Gasol averaging 13 and 8 making $25 mill per year this year and next year

Gasol has scored 2 points in three out of his last five games and is averaging only 5 rebounds in those games as well.

And the funny thing is that I feel like they did the trade to match up Gasol with Embiid...when historically Embiid has always killed Gasol and kinda struggled with Jonas.

I still would be surprised if the Celtics aren’t in the ECF.

Uh no. It’s not like I want them to make it there, I’m just saying when the stakes are on the line in a win or go home format I trust the guys on the Celtics and Sixers more than the guys on the Bucks and Raptors at this point. We’ll see what happens. I’ve said previously, both the Sixers and Celtics are bipolar enough to go home in the first round or go to the Finals.

To who?

Any ECF scenario without the Celtics or Sixers would be disappointing.

The lights have definitely not came on for the Raptors in the postseason  we’ll see if Kawhi changes that though

If anything, the Bucks and Raptors not having any of those irrational cocky guys is one reason I question them.

The Sixers and Celtics have those types to battle with them in a 7 game series. We’ll see if they’re mentally strong enough to respond.

Ibaka has been okay but man Van Vleet and Powell have been worthless. Raptors don’t really have good matchups anywhere on the floor now that we made the necessary Ben-Kawhi, Jimmy-Lowry, Embiid-Siakam and Tobi-Gasol matchup switches.

Bruh you said Ben Simmons would avg 25pts 10reb, 10ast if he was on a team where he had the green light.

That was one of the most scorching hot takes I found

so far

He averages 17-9-8 and that’s with not even having the ball in his hands that much because of the talent in his starting lineup. I said he could average a 22-25 point triple double in his prime if he was given the green light to do whatever he wants on a bad team with no expectations. If he was given free reign like that he absolutely could average 5 more PPG, one more rebound and two more assists in the regular season.

Why are you wasting your time with these? You were literally a lucky bounce away from taking your Raptors talk to the regular season thread. Calm down.

Yeah what is this dude talking about  you gotta be obsessed with Rihanna to pick her over Embiid’s chick.
You must blind. Ain't no ******* way Joel girl is messing with Riri. Forhead and all, she's on an entire different league.

That's not to say Joel's girl is not attractive.

Kawhi is tiers above Demar. But I truly don't understand why his shot is that big of a deal for Raptors fans in terms of it "being the biggest moment ever." Most likely he's losing in the ECF, which is what DeFrozen did every year. Yes he'll play better but if the end result is the same, why is there so much love?

Is it cause of newfound hope? He could easily leave after a season too.

I mean, I know the answer but I guess I just don't really agree with it. I'd like to hear Raptors fans perspective on this tho.

Shot had many parallels to Vince Carters shot back in 2001, 18 years ago, which would have been the Raptors first ECF back then.

Yes, we did make it to ECF since only to lose to Lebron.

Making the finals would be a new territory for the Raptors. If they do it gives more fuel to the possibility of Kawhi staying.

I don't think anyone has any real expectation to win against the Warriors.

If we don't make the Finals and Kawhi leaves, it could get real ugly. Like full rebuild.

My realistic prediction for the next series is Bucks in 7. Bucks in 6 if only Kawhi decides to show up.

Also Toronto is a pretty miserable sports city.

Last title we won was Toronto FC, and they're not very mainstream.

Before that 92-93 b2b blue jays.

Raptors entered the league in 95

Although a hockey town, Leafs haven't won since 1967

I'd definitely say it was the biggest moment in franchise history. Can't think of a bigger moment for us ever. Was it lucky? Absolutely. Even Coach Dilbert acknowledged that. Anyone that says otherwise is biased af.

I'd say the difference is when Kawhi gets the ball there's confidence that he's gonna do something, he's gonna make something happen. With DeMar there was doubt. Don't get me wrong I like DeMar and he was a good player, but he never had IT.

He did what VC couldn't 18yrs ago
