I personally think celebs that go to basketball games just do it to be seen with a few exceptions like Spike Lee and Nicholson, etc. Being desperate for attention is a female trait.
Basketball is pretty much the one sport where sitting court side pretty much puts you right in the flood with the players. I don't see big celebrity attendance at baseball games or football games the way you see in basketball. All this attention craving...**** just ain't for me.
I see how you can say that. But thats just the "look at me" fools like Birdman, Diddy, and mid grade rappers. Most celebs ARENT courtside( Denzel, Tobey Mcquire, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Ashton Kutcher, CC Sab, Leo DiCaprio,...) I think its a convenient sport to attend, theres always a game and its always indoors. And Im sure the proximity of the action is a draw aswell. Its like goin to a movie to them, or broadway show, with sweat.

Bosh's wife obviously has a thing for suspect men.
lil wayne lied about not being allowed access to an okc thunder game as well because he didn't get free tickets. pretty much he's a cornball
Here’s what the Ticketmaster.com website reads when you’re trying to buy tickets to the game:
*** VERY IMPORTANT !! *** Sales to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Western Conference Finals Home Games at Chesapeake Energy Arena, will be restricted to residents of Oklahoma, Kansas & Arkansas. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside of this area will be canceled without notice and refunds given.
So there you have it. Even though it would have been hilarious if the Thunder had just rejected Wayne’s ticket request because of his sheer awfulness, they actually apparently had a really good reason for doing it.

coming from the hood basketball is THE sport and basketball players are the topic of lots of arguments. getting enough money to be able to sit RIGHT THERE would make me want to sit right there. like.....you literally get to be apart of the action. (i.e. spike inspiring reggie miller's consecutive 3s) so i think they just like that aspect. plus bball games are exciting as hell. also.......celebrities gain no notable exposure for being there. album sales don't increase, box office numbers don't rise, etc. so if they just wanted tons of attention they could go to the club or mall and not an event where the attention is rarely on them. just my 2 cents.
look at most of the chicks these athletes get with nowadays, most of em are video vixens or booty models or were at one time high class escorts.
they start of by blowing local artists that are known in their town to get a little publicity
then they travel to the city to get picked out by a known rapper
get seen and pictured with famous rapper
now everyone sees them then its easy as 1,2,3..
all the ballers start hitting em up on twitter, fly em out then pipe em down..
apparently weezy lied about this ban..
the senior director of basketball communications issued a statement saying they didnt ban him..
Who is this guy?
He's kinda lame for the Mr. Me Too act.
