Most overrated city ???

Yo is there flavor in Minneapolis? Meaning outside of white people...

depends where you’re at. I used to live in Stevens square in Minneapolis. I was the minority over there being a white guy. But when I used to live in south west minneapolis it was all white people.

yeah there’s a lot more people here besides white people.

idk maybe someone who’s not white should chime in because I don’t wanna be like that white lady from Iowa calling iowa diverse.

Minneapolis has come a long way. There is a lot to do here and a lot of good jobs. BUT the winters are majorly depressing to me. I hate it here in the winters. I was just in south Florida and I’m strongly considering taking a pay cut and moving. That’s how bad winter is to me.

who are you that i need to lie to *****, again i said what i said... vegas is overrated... why ya'll trying so hard to sway people's opinions, lol?

You're the one lying, you tell me.

How your story go from "I landed, checked out the strip then went back to my hotel" to "oh, I partied!".

Now you're getting flustered and name calling because you got caught lying, :lol

I don't care if you call Vegas overrated but you already told us numerous times you spent no time in the actual city, so, your opinion when it comes to Vegas is irrelevant.

This isn’t a shot at anyone in particular but, the wrong person with the wrong attitude can make ANY city trash. You can’t expect a good time just because you showed up.
What I always Think when I’m in a new town. You’re a Guest. Cats be acting like the red carpet suppose to be rolled out

Not to dip into this argument buuuuut, Death Valley is in Nevada. Juuuust a tiny bit

Yea, maybe 3% of it.

Even if he happened to be in that 3% of Death Valley that happens to be in Nevada, what the hell does it have to do with Vegas?

Its 2 hours away,

SW underrated. Kern County, Coachella, quartzite..etc.. Pop some shrooms with blunt in pitch dark.

Oh, nothing at all. I just work in the park across the (Owens) valley so I felt obliged to point that out

Edit - ^shoutout Kernville :pimp:

All the Vegas slander needs to stop.

Las Vegas is a TOWN centered around the strip. It is not a city. It is in a lower tier than LA, San Fran, NYC, Chi, Dallas, H-town, Atl, DC. Those metro areas are 6 mil + people. Vegas has 2.5m.
anyone who wants the in-depth low down can ask me but generally it's a bang for your buck town of leisure and convenience.

You can never claim it's boring unless you are. You can raise a family here if you aren't lazy.
I have spoken.

Paris ain't ****

Not sure if you were being sarcastic but I literally came into the thread to post this.
In movies/tv shows they talk about Paris like its a magical place to be and I went twice and wasnt amazed. Its not bad but its nothing special. Much better european cities to visit but the media want you to believe Paris is where its at. I personally liked Prague, Lisbon and Barcelona more.

It's not just being close to the valley, do you know how many tech companies are in SF and not SV. And of course industry/economics is like that for every high priced major metro, its like saying Banking for NYC and London or Media and Aerospace for LA etc.

except laws with development are not lunatic inspiring in NY like they are in SF.

I haven't lived in Minneapolis since high school, but there were hella fine black women in Minneapolis when I was there. Generally I'd say there's a lot more black folk than people would think, but nothing like some of these southern cities.

Outside of Mpls and some very nearly burbs (Richfield, Brooklyn Park/Center) good luck seeing any diversity.

Paris is wildly over romanticized by Hollywood and people that think they have good taste. it was just ok but nowhere near what they make it out to be.
NYC>> Paris easy any day.

underrated city to visit, Budapest. Women look better also.
