yeah i believe we didnt see AZ at his peak, the best verses were with the firm and do or die of course
Could you explain why you'd throw I. Blu?I would agree with those who said:
Fab
Jada
Juelz
Banks
Some of raps biggest underachievers. Guys had everything lined up to be part of raps elite, but could just never deliver. I'm sure some dudes are gonna jump in and cape for Fab, maybe even Jada, but if we are being as objective as possible, these dudes just never had that career defining album and just frankly never lived up to their potential.
I'll throw in Beanie, Budden, Blu, and Jay Elec.
snoop n jeezy ok, why fif ??Snoop

I was thinking of him when I first saw the thread.Cool Breeze from Dungeon Family.

50 changed the whole game from the new era, he cant be in this list. As of today he about making major paper, I dont think he cares about music like he used to.Jeezy?
He did everything he could possibly do with his talent. You could argue the he never dropped another classic after TM 101, but that was lightning in a bottle. He was never going to have a career like Jay. Even if you compare him to a Dirty South legend like Scarface, his lyrics were never that profound. I feel like he exceeded expectations and has had several solid albums.
50 has suffered a severe drop-off. He had such a strong movement but really didn't put out anything memorable after GRODT. Decent material, but nothing I go back and listen to.
Snoop def fell off, but at least he's had a plethora of songs that were hits. Most of his albums were trash after Doggystyle, but I dig the R&G stuff he does, tho.
Below the Heavens is generally considered a modern day classic among rap critics, which I would agree with. I remember the buzz surrounding dude when it dropped. Dude came out of nowhere and was poised to be a mainstay in the hip hop scene. So what did he do to capitalize, absolutely nothing. He disappeared and released s bunch of mediocre tapes and albums with terrible quality.Could you explain why you'd throw I. Blu?
His last album was my favorite last year
I don't agree with this at all. Doggystyle is a classic and Snoop was one of the guys at the forefront of the East vs West battle, which is one of the most significant and memorable moments in the history of hip hop.Snoop

Repped50 changed the mixtape game, released one of the greatest albums of all time, and is one of the most commercially successful artist of his generation.
