Murray played well for the Vikings but he would've had a quiet year if Cook never got hurt.

I'm happy for him but acting like he was the missing ingredient in Oakland and that our offense missed him is laughable.

There's no way anybody can sell me an argument than Murray is better than Marshawn. I don't care what age they are either.

I would still rather go without Marshawn if he was having the negative impact on the locker room as is being reported. We can get a stud RB in the draft to replace much of his production if needed.

It seemed that Todd's scheming involved getting Marshawn away from the LOS to reduce the hits Marshawn took and keep him fresh throughout the season. If that's the case then how can you rely on a back that way? If he's going to be the feature back then he needs to be used in a way that compliments the OL as well, instead of moving the OL scheme away from the power running game that made it so dominant last season.

I miss McFadden. LOL. I was thinking back since the season was over. I'm not a super football savy fan.But maaaaan when these two were on the team. I was hypeeeeee! hahahaha.

100% sure I'm a sucker for anyone that puts on the silver and black. Happy retirement CP. Still got your autograph from training camp. LMAO.

didnt we trade a 1st or 2nd for him? idr, but its not his fault that we were *** and he had no one to throw to.

anyway, i like that Murray and Carr had a seemingly good relationship. i think murray would've fit better in Downing's scheme than Lynch. as much as i like Lynch, i dont like that he had a negative impact on the locker room.

Reece, Holmes & Streater I'll buy as locker room guys but it shouldn't matter.

This team just wasn't good enough and I put that on the coaching and the players not playing well. Not the fact that we replaced some mediocre players and that caused the locker room to fall apart. That's bull****. So if they won 3 more games the locker room was all good? These guys are getting paid a lot of money and I'm not interested in these bull**** excuses.

want to know how much of this is coming from JDR

This is exactly what Peter King was alluding to earlier as far a glue guys and people who do little things to keep the line. I feel like there were a few things lost when new faces came in. Yes you upgrade for better results and for change but if you don't think changes affect the bottom line and chemistry you don't know life. I honestly didn't like the Marshawn signing for whatever reason and over the course of the season I wasn't high on the Cook signing either. But to each his/her own.
You sign and see. If they are successful and playoff bound and clicking we get a different opinion and story all together from everyone. But here it's not the case. Jalen and DeAndre regressed in this offense so much and for whatever reason despite Murray's lack I liked their chemistry better with Murray than Lynch. But again, to each his/her own position.

Papa yesterday mentioned only Crab Lynch and Cook. Some teammates probably didn't like King because of the Talib thing but I don't care guy still played great even when injured.

I respect everyone's position here. It isn't a right or wrong thing it's just how does one feel about changes coming top to bottom with such instability. When Gruden comes in do we expect McKenzie to stay? I'm curious. I just get anxious when a name like Gruden comes in and what changes come with that. Does Gruden bring his own GM? Look at what happened in Santa Clara. Kyle got to pick his people.

to be 100% honest, i don't think we really needed to make changes to our offense aside from TE. we brought in Cook, and he has been productive. Lynch was a bonus at the time, because hell, he'll run through anyone. we won 12 games with terrible defense, and letting Carr gun sling in the 2nd half of games. if it aint broke, don't fix it. instead, it broke even more. if i have to blame this 6-10 season on ONLY two causes, its Reggie for getting rid of our glue guys and making Downing OC.

I can see Marquette being one of those bad locker room guys tbh.

eh, i can seem him maybe getting on some players nerves by being immature at times. idk if he's really a guy to be disruptive as much as Lynch has. not that i knew about his whole camera crew or badgering Carr before, but idk how much worse you can really get until you reach RG3 level.

Obviously I don't know King or anything, but as funny as his antics are to a fan like myself, if I was a teammate I'd probably not find it as funny. Especially the pic he with Aqib getting his chain snatched.

That **** was petty and worse than Marshawn going in to hold back Marcus Peters.

King is still posting eggplants on IG. He is just a character.
