misconceptions about your city

Everything you've heard about San Diego is true. We have the best weather and women and is the best place to live in America.
you're from Wyoming tho

DFW>Houston
Deep Elm, 7th st, and downtown Ft. Worth
:pimp: :pimp:

Omg and North Dallas white girls >>>>>>>>

San Antonio and Austin are better than both anyways

LOL

Houston vs Dallas is close but there are more oppornuties in Dallas. More money in general in the DFW.
My rachet side prefers Houston
My grown up side prefers Dallas
Both of them **** on San Antonio.
Dallas doesn't even have a city in the South vibe to it. Houston the definition of Southern.
Austin is awesome if your white and under 25.

*jaguars fan gif*

Majority of Dallas = Northside Houston = :x :x = your ratchet side should prefer Dallas 100 times over

You're right about Austin though. Being there around teh time of the Texas Relays was always :pimp: :pimp:

Man there isn't anywhere in Houston that compares to Uptown.

The "upscale" spots I've been to in Houston still end up Ratchet

Jumpoffs are more friendly in Houston though,

Cincinnati doesn't have any real misconceptions.... Maybe its that we are real conservative, must be because of Boehner. OTR had a bad reputation nationally with crime but it seems to have gotten better. UC/clifton area is cool as hell, always something to do there. The surrounding cities in the Greater Cincinnati area are great places to raise a family or settle down if that's what you're interested in. Reds baseball is always a good time at GABP, not a Bengals fan though.

Lived in Arkansas most of my life....most of what you read about Arkansas is true. It's boring and it sucks unless you live in Northwest AR
(Fayetteville, Rogers, Springdale and Bentonville) lots of money and big companies up there.

Boca Raton FL

- I discovered that it rains in sections down here. It can rain in side of town but in the other side of town, It isn't. 'TF?!

Blame Hymen Roth.

Downtown Detroit is more fun and has more stuff to do than downtown Houston or Dallas.
I can't speak on Houston or Dallas ( i've yet to visit either city) but Downtown Detroit is pretty cool. Everything is within walking distance. You can literally catch a game at Comerica Park or Ford Field and there is always something happening down town. So many free events down at Campus Martius and Hart Plaza.

lowkey, i hate that last part, but got damn its true, one time i almost broke my neck in MGM it was so many bad hos in that mf, and i mean gorgeous wit dumb body

bruh, wtf you mean about Kwame being good? they did throw the book at him tho

everything else is pretty much true, but at the same time, hos flip if you got legit buffys on

but yea man, Detroit is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be at all, ive never been tried or abducted, never even close to an altercation, and ive worked in some of the roughest parts, and some of my ex's are from the roughest parts

if you're in town or whatever and want to have a good time for the weekend, just do what you would in any other city, check out the attractions and party Downtown, if you go to a nice club (which is where you wanna be anyways because thats where all the baddest hos are) you will be A1

I find it difficult to really get an idea of what Detroit is like as far as the people, places, and crime. Aside from visiting what would you suggest?

I have a theory that due to the primary ethnicity of the residents of Detroit it gets a lot more "hate" than it would other wise.

Now with that being said I would never live there but its a cool place to visit.

Los Angeles does have a lot of organized crime but most of the gang bangers who display their colors and signs are in South and East LA and largely belong to black and Mexican American gangs.

Most gang/mafia people in LA go out of their way to be low key and make money. The newly arrived Mexicans (los paisas), Israelis, Russians, Armenians, Thais, Cambodians, Vietnamese, Persians, Ethiopians, et al. who do illegal things deliberately dress, act and drive like the low abiding people in their community.

Everyone I've talked to that has lived there in the past says the same thing. Let some people or articles tell it, a lot of Detroit is abandoned/run down, the crime rate is sky high, poverty, and there's very little to do.

I also heard some years ago that the downtown didn't even have a supermarket.

Its a segregated city
how so? i've heard it was.

i'm a red sox fan and was planning on heading out there next year for a few days to catch some games, i'm mexican but i think i could fit in since my name is irish

Northside of Houston, catch you a ratchet. Southside of Houston, catch you a bopper. Even trade off if you ask me. Houston women are cool tho.

As far as Houston's downtown area it isnt as good as it should be but they are pouring a lot of money into the area to improve to make it more tourist friendly & more active so you dont have to travel far just to hit a spot. Plus with the Super Bowl coming here again Morey money will be spend in that area so that pretty much everything can be confined in one area instead of a few spots downtown, another few spots in the southwest and so on....
