HAAAAAAAAAAAAA! LOL LOL LOL"He's too small. He's too frail. I will break him"
BILLIE CLUB!
lol boost technology is like no otherI wonder why Floyd went with adidas last night. He's been wearing Reeboks boot for years
The real mega fight is the triple g Canelo this was just a warm up to add to a pretty good year of boxingFloyd Mayweather ain't your mans. He wouldn't piss on any of y'all if you were caught on fire.
You guys got a little too hype for 20-plus year professional boxer beating a guy who's never stepped in the ring until last night.
HE'S SUPPOSED TO WIN!!!
Go watch some real boxing instead.
Also, any top-tier boxer in their prime right now would knock Conor out in 2 rounds ... May is washed at 40, no disrespect ...
And it is sad how poor Mayweather is at this point in his career given his earnings ... He basically is a 100 millionaire because of Conor ... His finances relative to where they should be are a joke ...
What exactly are you championing for right now?I think people are missing the point ...
Anyone who honesty thought Conor was going to win is an absolute moron ... At BEST, Conor tags May something serious and May BOXES the rest of the fight and out-points him ... Just so happens that Conor couldn't get consistent power shots on-point and ran out of gas punching air ...
No one over here thought this spectacle had a chance to go Conor's way ... I have trained in both disciplines and let's just say there's a reason why boxers aren't to be messed with by normal people ... Take it a step further to Floyd's level, a 20 year vet and one of the greatest ever, you don't stand a chance if you aren't a dedicated boxer ...
Conor was unimpressive to me ... He fought a terrible fight technically and showed little discipline or growth from the 1st Diaz tutorial ... In short, Conor succumbed to the moment in Diaz #1 and did the same last night ... He shot his load in the first 10 minutes and it was over ... If he had another shot at Floyd he would do exactly what he did in Diaz #2, pace himself and preserve the tank ... But he doesn't have another shot because this was theatre ...
All that being said, let's stop with the Floyd would have deaded Conor talk ... The ref is a boxing ref who isn't used to the abuse MMA fighters endure ... If you have ever taken shots from a boxing glove and MMA glove, you know the deal ... Go watch Diaz #2 and be honest with yourself about the stoppage last night ... Could Conor have been knocked down? Yes ... Could Conor have recovered? Yes ... Did Conor get saved? Maybe, but the point is it should have been allowed to continue ...
I'll leave you with this for what it is worth ... Mayweather walked into a Vegas casino prior to the fight and tried to put $400k down on the fight ending in less than 9.5 rounds ... They denied the bet but the fight ends in just less than 9.5 rounds ... Whether it was May toying with him for 9 rounds or a miscommunication between the powers that be, you can't convince me that this bout wasn't pre-determined ... It was a show on the strip, nothing more ...
And by the way, the undercards were terrible and boxing has no stars left ...
It is clear who has watched Conor fight and who hasn't ... To think that May was throwing anything harder than a Diaz 4 oz. punch or that Conor cant come back from that fatigue phase just shows your ignorance ... Conor might have been dropped in round 10 but there is 0 doubt in my mind that he would have lasted 12 after that ... He goes into zombie mode and takes heavy shots in his longer fights but aside from the Diaz choke, usually lasts ... You have to remember that MMA doesn't stop fights when people are standing ... Conor is getting tagged but none of those shots came close to hurting him ... He was simply gassed ...
