Major Predictions for the next 50yrs?

I have come to the conclusion that the next 50 years in society pretty much hinge on the events of this one.

that's the case for everything. what we do today, affects tomorrow.

yeah I guess that was kinda vague...I just look at something like the United States´ response to the COVID crisis and how that projects onto something like the automation dilemma...UBI ain´t coming if free vaccines ain´t.

think about the fact that millions stand to get evicted at the end of the year during an economic crisis unmatched in living memory...you think they´re gonna be quicker with the funds when robots take our jobs?

an international campaign of information warfare is currently tearing at the fabric of societies worldwide.

that´s gonna take quite some time to mop up...A LOT of people are going to need INTENSE deprogramming.

as far as I understand it, the material is extruded into whatever form in layers, like you would build a brick wall.

the cheap ones you and I might buy use plastic in pellets that is melted and reformed, they´re mostly meant for toys and decorations...but you can definitely get one that can work with metals or multiple materials.

you can also print out individual components and assemble them or combine them with existing goods...people have modified their semiautomatic rifles to go full auto by printing out components.

my favorite use of it so far is in printing out entire houses here south of the border.

dominated by a couple of monopolies just like there, but it´s a lot cheaper...I pay less than $30 a month.

home Internet is just as fast where I live, and since the fiber upgrades a couple years back it never goes out.

that was honestly one of the main considerations when picking somewhere else to live, Internet is a necessity.
