LOST (GOAT SERIES) OFFICIAL THREAD VOL YOU CAN GO NOW.

To the detest of many of you, lets talk about the sideways flash for a second.

1.  The island exists or existed depending on what your theory is.  Ben's father commented that they were once on the island as part of the Dharma Initiative.  How/why did they leave?
2.  Ben changed.  He gave up his power quest in order to help Alex.  So far the people who have definitively changed: Jack, Hurley, John, and Ben.  Kate may or may not have changed, not quite sure on that one yet.  Sayid has not changed.

emerson was a g in this one.....i actually felt bad for him...and i loved how he was a nice guy in sideways.....

jacob said someone is coming...going to temple....

beatles said thats the only way to let him in...

we are convinced that they meant the smoke monster/mib

but could it also have a double meaning that widmore was coming...

maybe that the death of jacob opened up a hole that kinda let the coordinates of the island to be found...hence why widmore is there in a snap?

Wasn't a

episode, but still great.
It made me feel things

, especially the scene with Ben's swerve.

that was a really weak episode. i'm suprised that most of yall liked it from what i'm reading.

i mean that episode had some pretty corny parts. it also dragged. plus i knew it was whitmore before they showed him. it was too obvious. the only info i think we got was that jack and whoeevr was touched by jacob can't kill themselves.

maybe im just fishing for something but in the part where ben is tutoring alex they were talking about the east india trade company and he never answered who the india company did not control, could this be a missing link somewhere? again just fishing

People say that every week about it being the best episode
thats exactly what i said last week...and then some lame got on my case..haha...guess he shut up real quick

question: what was carved into the wood when richard was looking at the chains....looked like a name.....can we get a screenshot??

I understand where people are coming from, saying that if someone was touched by Jacob they wont die. I mean it has looked like that so far. But Richard did say gift, so that can be the gift of life(Locke, he was dead when thrown out of the window), eternal life, or the ability to talk to and see dead people.

I was really paying attention to this part, there's something to it, hopefully I can figure it out.

Armies are forming. Epic battle coming down the pipe. In the end, they'll all turn on FLocke and Widmore to defeat them.

Michael Emmerson gunning for that !%*%%*@ Emmy

yeah I thinking they were talking about the Black Rock

My favorite part of the episode was the whole Jack/Richard Black Rock scene.

DMX- possibly Ben and his Dad left during the incident. They was told to get all children on the sub.

I think when Jacob touch's you, you can't kill yourself. Jack was going to, but then the car wreck happened. Locke was going to, but then Ben did. Now, Richard pretty much confirmed it. He must have touched Michael at some point, because Mike couldn't kill himself either. But, I don't know if that means the O6 won't age like him....

And I liked this episode a lot. It has a nice mix of answers and pushing the story forward. I still think LAX was the best this season, but I think it was just because I was soo hype for the season to start.

The last couple of episodes have been great.

I just wanted to mention how @!%*%*$ hot Alex looked in this episode. No braces.

What I want to know is what a Yale graduate is doing being a principal in a middle-class high school in California. Shoe doesn't quite fit

ben could have just waited a year or two after the principle wrote alex's recommendation.....

blackmail him after alex is already in school thriving

^ Good point.

I thought the episode was good, not great. It was not a filler by any means and we got some questions answered. My favorite scenes were probably the Jack/Alpert dynamite face off in the Black Rock and also when Widmore was shown in the sub.

I'll probably re watch this one at some point this week and definitely can't wait for the Vozzek to post his write up.

Widmore is/was obsessed with getting back to the island. It seemed he couldn't come back for some reason. Now, he can. I wounder if Jacob dying had something to do with it.

Same reason there are people with P.h.Ds  working at borders. Yall be overthinking some of the writing.

Michael better be nominated for an emmy along with Terry. This seasons acting has been oscar worthy IMO. From MIB facial expressions to last nights vulnerable Linus.

Sun and Jin were both touched but I've yet to see where Sun has been put in a life or death situation...MAYBE they're the "adam and eve" skeletons we saw?

Great season...Kates episode was the only let down so far.

Remember Widmore bought the captain's log.
He bought the Captains log because he had already knew about the black rock from when he was running the island back in the 50's. Once he got excommunicated from the island, he decided to buy it in an auction.

There is something up with the black rock. We won't know for another 2 weeks.
