Lock please, thanks. Warriors 2011/2012 Thread Up.

Lin having Mark Jackson as coach could be very good for him trying to become a PG...I'm obviously biased

, but I think he could be a good back-up guard for the Warriors next season. He's shown improvement; if he can improve his jumper and develop confidence, he could be a decent back-up.

I hope they will be. Thornton is almost instant offense off the bench; can shoot, slash, and get FTs.

I don't know what to expect from Lin, just hope he takes his open jumpers and continue to get some steals.

Its kinda odd how Lin is at a point in his ability where he can do great the DLeague and Summer League, but can still look completely lost in an NBA game. Does it just take more time to the point of domination in one of the lesser leagues, or at a certain point, does he need to just get thrown out there and live with his ****ups while he grows on the grand stage?
On an unrelated note, I'm hoping with Dallas's success in rotating in a zone, the W's can hopefully consider doing the same thing. I mean it worked great during the 07 season with an athletic group, perhaps it can work as a rhythm disruption tool again?

I hate how Fitz uses Dallas as an example when talking about 2 small guards on a team. His homerism still pisses me off.

I thought of it before, but Steinmetz also mentioned the Warriors will likely go after Samuel Dalembert in free agency. If the guy would play good defense down low and limit his ******ed jumpers, I think he would be a good player.

The thing about signing a guy like Dalembert is absolutely contigent on what they do or don't with Monta. You can't get rid of a guy like Monta, in terms of offense, and sign a big man who has zero offense...IMO

He also mentioned that. He doesn't think the team is going to move him unless they get a deal that blows them away. So, keep Monta for this season and see how the team does with an actual center.

I read Miami wants Dalembert too. I'd think he'd choose them over us unless we paid him a lot more...
