These statistical and data analytical nerds over analyze the ******* game so much.

The best running backs in the NFL are a collection of 1st and 2nd round guys.

Gurley, Zeke, Bell, Mccoy, Ingram, Gordon, Fournette..

Yea, you're going to have your outliers in the draft that are taken in the later rounds, that outperform 1st rounders (which happens at every position btw) but various factors like what college they went to, combine numbers and their physicals come into play, y'all know this.

Who have the cowboys plugged in for zeke that has given them the same production? Who is replacing Le'veon for the Steelers? Does the 2nd string rams RB even have over 100 rushes?

This **** is so dumb man, and the conversation and narrative is tired. You simply can't plug in some 6th round RB from Central Southwest Arkansas State and say he'll get you the same production from a RB taken in the 1st round.

Well of course first round RBs are going to be good, on the whole compared to other RBs. That doesn't prove anything. The point is that they have limited careers compared to other positions.
Thats a weak arguement though. The average career for a RB is 2.5 yrs. For a WR, 2.25 (less than a RB). For a TE, 2.8. So are those positions not worthy of a 1st round pick either?

This plays a factor in it but it's more about impact on the game to me

Who plays a bigger part in winning: Zeke Elliott or Jalen Ramsey? Christian McCaffery or Marshon Lattimore?

I'm starting to feel the same way about WR's, too

Edit: I might feel stronger against high pick WR's than RB's tbh

WAIT FAM. JERRY JONES SAID HE FEELS SORRY FOR JERRY RICHARDSON, WE NEED MORE MEN LIKE HIM IN THE NFL.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

this how you know Diddy aint ever getting a team(if he's serious) they'll only sell to like minded people

I think the chart comparison between WRs and RBs would reflect differently if you were looking at star level, high usage players.

But WR and TE are not the first place I'd want to go with my first rounder either actually.

I'm sure the cowboys hold value in Zeke over any defensive player in the league. Period.

I guess only offensive linemen, linebackers and secondary guys should only be taken in the first round.

oh and the occasional reach that teams do for QB's.

jesus man.

redraft the 2013 NFL draft and Le'veon Bell is the number 1 pick.

In the worst draft of our generation the very best RB in the league who is one of the very few generational talents at the position is the first pick. Big stretch there!

redraft the 2015 draft and Todd gurley is a top 3 pick. Melvin gordon goes in the top 10.

next narrative please.

You're saying that about Gurley at his peak (and he was nothing special, btw). We'll see where he is in a couple years.

I certainly would not take Gordon in the top 10.

just seen that video of Diddy calling them the North Carolina Panthers, yeah he's out of the running

Struggle video  talking about signing Kaep too on some "It's just competition baby" :rolleyes .
