Starting to wonder if NBA can surpass the NFL.

Never. The NFL owns a day of the week, no matter how bad the football is.

The NBA is growing but it will never reach the NFL’s level. No one is watching Jazz-Hawks on a Tuesday night in January.

Idk if I agree man. It won't happen overnight but these things do change.

Wasn't too long ago baseball was the most popular sport in America. Before that, boxing...

Whoa whoa.

Don't disrespect my squad, you a Knicks fan!

HAN :smh:

I hear you. But i think the trend is starting to settle in:
You have money hungry owners who don't care about the fans (commish included)
teams leaving home market to markets that don't want them
politics are heavy in the sport and turning people off
Concussions are showing how damaging this sport is long term, so youth may look at other options.

Like 100027 100027 said earlier, it's not gonna happen over night. But I just wonder if the NFL has reached its peak in terms of popularity. Also keep in mind the NBA is becoming a world sport. You got top international companies paying sponsorship money to NBA teams to put their logo on their jerseys like soccer.

If the majority are really "boycotting" the NFL like they say they are, it's popularity will continue taking a hit.

Like raider said, won't be anything we see overnight. But it could still happen in our lifetime.

A regular season Browns vs Ravens game is killing a regular season Hawks vs Jazz game in the ratings.

Jags getting new jerseys in 2018

No one is watching browns ravens on a Sunday or Thursday night either

Only game on?

Yea I'm watching.. might not be actually watching, but it's on the tv.. sundays, obviously I'm not watching all games, obviously, but I flipping through most

NBA I'd say I'm easily skipping 90+ percent of the games.. I guarantee I'm watching every eagles game, plus multiple other games

There is no NBA team that I can guarantee I will watch 100% of their games.. plus their is pretty much 70% of the teams in the league I don't care if I ever see all year.. hell I see zero reason to watch any of the eastern conference playoffs unless nothing else is on

30 teams x 82 = 2460
90% = 2214
