It wasn't as bad as it sounds on the surface. Biyombo only got $16M to start and Afflalo/Jones were one year deals, i think.

Not sure why Jones, with Randle/Nance, but certainly understand Biyombo and to a lesser extent Afflalo.

But that trio suggests Lakers punt another FA signing period and try to simply improve the overall roster and make yet another run next year, hoping to entice bigger/better talent with the young guys all having played a year together and showing who/what they are.

Why Jones tho.........? He's 24, so I wouldn't be angry, but don't see the fit there.

Ingram/Baze/Brown
Randle/Nance
Whiteside/Tarik/Zubac

Young, kelly, Sacre, bass kick rocks
Possibly add Zach Auguste plus some other vets on 1 year deals
