We got a steal maybe the year before in the consensus number 3 prospect from high school in Julius Randle (behind Drew and Jabari) at number 7. He didn't have the most dominant of seasons but you saw a lot there. The deficiencies that were there in college are still there (defense, trouble finishing over length) but the positives have translated as well. The playmaker, high motor, rebounder etc.
Can't say that many if any of D'Lo's positives (vision, great shooting, confidence) have translated at all. Yet all his deficiencies even as a top 3 prospect have been on display for the world to see and criticize. I'm hoping he turns it around, but it's not going to happen with this roster or the personnel around him it's not a good fit.
Randle is playing for Byron as well and doesn't seem to be getting killed by everyone.
