I'm not a Bevell fan. Nothing about his offense was creative in Minnesota. I suppose you dont need that with AP, but the only time that offense was elevated was when Favre was there, so hard to give Bevell any credit.

And I saw the same with Lynch, but specifically Russ.

It’s hard to give an OC credit with all that talent but I remember the Vikings’ offense being powerful under Bevell.

With the Hawks I hated the imbalance of run to pass and all the WR screen plays that never worked. On the flip side we did have a great deep ball game even with a terrible line and he empowered Russ to do his thing. I’m not entirely who to assign the credit or the blame to. Pete definitely deserves blame and Russ/Lynch a lot of credit, Bevell probably somewhere in the middle.
