He’s a smart and creative OC. Not perfect but he’s not vanilla, which is what the Lions have had forever. I’ve accepted that the Seahawks’ obsession with retro offense comes from Pete which became clear as soon as they hired Schotteinheimer.

I'm not a Bevell fan. Nothing about his offense was creative in Minnesota. I suppose you dont need that with AP, but the only time that offense was elevated was when Favre was there, so hard to give Bevell any credit.
