Again, I wasn't comparing the tracks.

What I am saying is, Dr. Carter showcases that no matter how much we think Wayne fell off, he still has SOME of it left in the tank. When, leading up to thisalbum, a lot of peole didn't think he had ANYTHING left in the tank. Or was expecting anything, really.

To those saying that Wayne is trash, and the lyrics are

on this album(not saying that he DOESN'T have

lyric on this album), Dr. Cartercomes hard.

Let's be real here to those clinging onto the Carter 1 and Carter 2.

Pick a track off the Carter 1 OR Carter 2, and let's stack that up against Dr. Carter.

Dr. Carter will win out a lot more times than not.

Pick the 5 strongest songs off C3, and stack them up against the 5 strongest songs of C1 AND C2.

It's close.

So, I just don't get how some are saying this album is trash, taking everything into consideration.

I meant, Dr. Carter is Wayne's version of One Mic, ie, trying to step out the box, doing something different. Rapping with substance.

Not knocking your opinion because it's yours.

But I don't think Dr. Carter had that much substance, the same way I didn't think Nas' rewind had much substance.

It's a creative track, but at the end of the day they aren't really saying too much impressive. It's more a display of lyrical creativity than lyrical substance. Wayne has had many other tracks that I'd say had more substance than Dr. Carter. It's a cool track though, for what it's worth.
