Finally! Tracking! Lol. Thanks to the ones about 3 pages back about using the Fed ex notification account. Regiestered and showed right up,even though the site still says " drop ship". Scheduled for tomorrow, right in time for way of Wade Wednesday. Lol. But after the last couple of posts,I'm afraid it'll just go straight back. SMH. sucks to hear all the negative flaws. Even though sunlight has awesome customer service and so does fanatics,they even get flawed shoes. Really hoping mine is decent. I don't wanna wait no longer.

Really? I haven't gotten any trouble yet. They refunded me 15% off my encore announcements after like 2 weeks past my order. And I got it like at once. Although it did take two calls. Lol. Idk, this is all messed up.

I'm in NorCal and I got tracking Saturday, ordered last Wednesday. Just when I post this I got my package lol. Tracking said Friday but early delivery. :hat

Congrats man! Yeah mines scheduled for tomorrow. Not bad. But if I hadn't used FedEx tracker would a never known. How'd your pair come out if you don't mind me asking?
 
I got the Encore Overtown. No scuff on the toe box. The shoes were on top of the dust bag like everyone else. Aside from the perforated leather between the heel counter being slightly pinkish to the naked eye, everything is on point. Leather is good, no messy paint job on the dazzle camo, and no glue stain. Love them more in person. Tempted to get the Storm Shadows right now lol.
 
New wows 3s are looking good to me. UPDATE Have been on the phone back and for with Canadian Li Ning reps and looking promising for sponsorship/partial discount on WOW models. Said they are very excited about new line of 3's and that I can expect a lot of theme shoes. I asked about the Mache's and the guy said they are still unsure of whether or not it will be on a WOW 2 or 3 but his personal opinion was a WOW 3. 

The threes kind of remind me of some of the converse stuff that he used to roll with

Agreed 100% after a month I finally got my label for overtowns I sent back on my own last week.

Mine are actually ok for me. Creases, yea. A couple scuffs on the peaks, yea. But overall mine is fine. The style of the gr is just not conducive to a mass produced shoe. The material will never be perfect.

Yeah, but the thing that kills me is the GR 1s do not have this gold paint scuffing issue.  Totally understand metallic paint colorways and the challenges of mass production but they did it right the first time around.  Was not expecting storm shadows to drop as a general release, might have to trade mine in for those. 
 
But the gr1.5 was only 500 pair right? A lot easier to do quality control on that than a GR, even if it is a smaller GR. It is disappointing though that this line is heading down this path it seems. Someone earlier in the thread said that WOWs would turn into Ewing's, and while I wont go that far, I will say each release, just in my opinion, has been a step back after the 1.5. The 2.5 is just not what I have come to expect. They're pushing too far, too quick (just my opinion). Still will support Dwade because he's my favorite player, but I def. dont like the direction it's heading right now.

Athough the 3 looks decent quality wise, just very very generic. I will reserve further judgement until I get one in hand.
 
I have the TNS and 305 1's and the Overtowns Encore 1.5. All 3 are stellar quality. For the 2's I have Birthday, Dynasty, 305, Raz Fuego, Code Red, Christmas, and Overtowns. Quality on each pair is also great, especially the "premium" pairs Xmas etc...

I have the 2.5 Encore announcement and quality is also A1.

So all that being said I suppose I've been lucky with my pairs, but I also don't have any of the MOST recent drops. Lava, GR, Flamingo's etc.

Someone mentioned their Cautions coming in with a few midsole blemishes as well. I'm guessing that the manufacturing of this midsole design is not without it's bugs, as that seems to be the issue with the lavas.

I'm hoping that these issues are growing pains and NOT a precursor of things to come, as we've seen too many unhappy deliveries in the past few weeks. The bright spot seems that it has been confined to only a few releases (in my eyes) but the flip side is that it's been on the HIGHLY anticipated pairs.

The 3 as of now is ok. Hoping some of the "event" themed colors really give this shoe some personality cuz at the moment the core colors are just meh. Hate to say that but can't fake it either.

I imagine 150-160... I would be pleasantly surprised if they were 135.
Might actually return my GR for the Diablo.

I have still not got anything back from Wayof Wade about my GR switch out. So I may have to ship back on my own...but I will be super pissed.

Nah you shouldn't have to do it on your own. I work for customer service at our company. Just call em up and be firm you wanna speak to a supervisor only cuz you feel the issue isn't getting resolved. Dont be a jerk but just be firm and point out how this isn't cool. That should get them going. if it doesn't,well then that really shows they're that bad. Lol.

Diablos are nice and from what I've seen,leather is used is on point. I think they hand paint the dazzle camo MIDSOLE so just a heads up there maybe a few blemishes. But with that said,I ain't that mad at that. Even my cautions I just let it slide. As long as everything else is on point.

Oh that is what I would be. I am a business man so I would not be disrespectful. Its just business as usual.

I did that for a month with my overtowns. Finally got sick of the bs and sent them back myself last week. Then the label comes yesterday. They suck

Yup. I returned a pair of Red Leopards on my own dime because it would be quicker. Shipped them priority 2 day. A week after they arrived I emailed and inquired to make sure they were processing my refund. I mentioned my order number, what I ordered, and when they returned. They asked me for a tracking number and I sent it to them. Next reply is we'll refund you $30.13. I was like, nope I returned a pair of Red Leopards that I paid $230 for. NExt reply is we're refunding you $250 for the return of the Raz Fuegos and you should see it in 2-10 business days. So instead of correcting them again I just let it go and am checking my credit card activity for my refund. 10 days later and nothing. I inquire as to the status and they say that refund was processed on 07/30 and was returned to your Paypal. I told them that was a refund for a pair I never received and the return I was talking about was for Red Leopards returned on 08/25 so I didn't get a refund for my return a month earlier. Finally they apologize and issue the actual refund.

This same thing has happened with them through WOW and my experience with NBA store (ordered a Clippers tank and received a Miami Heat shirt. Told them to send me the right thing and they sent me a Heat shirt for a total of 4 times before I got the correct item).
 
Welp time to make that stern call right now...will update in a few minutes. 

Really still debating on if I want to just have them ship me a second pair of them or just refund and salf myself $100 and get the Diablos.

Its just seems like its a lot of issues with the GR. Kind of sad...I really do like the shoe. 
 
Wow, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who got a pair of Gold Rushes without flaws? My Red lavas came in with slight chipping on the dazzle camo but I don't care really, I'm using them in my rotation and they'll get messed up anyway.

Hoping Iceman Lows drop real soon.
 
Yea I decided to just return them for a full refund and grab the Diablos. Had to call with a little bit of  *harshness* in my voice but I should and BETTER be receiving a return label in the next 30 minutes or I am calling back with less harshness and more direct a-hole-ness. I am keeping them to a fine line schedule seeing that it looks like they are not that good in the Customer Service department.

Basically I told them

Looks like its been a lot of fail lately in the category of the GR and quality and customer service. I have witnessed 3 fails in less than a week being 

1. Shoes scuffed up and such

2. Customer service sending return label since last Friday (which I have not received)

3. Shipment of second pair of Wades GR which also was to have already happened. 

So I don't want the second pair..I want a refund and I am looking for a return label TODAY before 3pm as I am planning to put them in the mail today. If I don't have it by 2:30 I will be contacting you all back and at 3pm I will let it be known that I paid for shipping and I will be expecting that in my refund as well.
