Agreed.  Feel like I have to be a bit more responsible when the price tag is so steep.  Couldn't pass on the KOTJ/KP, but think I will be able to pass on the black and golds...initially at least...and I'm a Wake Forest Alum.

The all orange pair(refuse to call them Preheats) is underwhelming(detail-wise). The BB IX had way more details so the thirst was justified for them(they're too loud for me but I did appreciate the thought and detail put into them). These the only thing looking forward to is the forging iron option( I imagine the option will be up after the drop). Beast away just because of the name but they are gonna be second fiddle to the BB.

I like the all orange look, super clean. If they dont have a crazy release I'll deff try to scoop them. The Warriors are next on my list and then I'm gonna chill for a bit on kicks.

My true size is 10, but I tried a 9.5 as I like it better. I have narrow feet and I like my shoes to be one with my feet.

I wish they would put all the pattern options used on the XI on ID after release like they did with the Kobe 8

I don't like the TWs but I would love an ID with that pattern just using different accent colors.

Just tried these on at FootAction since I've never owned any Lebrons. I wear a 10 in everything including these. I could go down a half size in length but they would be way too narrow. Wanted to make sure before I ID a pair.
Overall felt light and comfortable.

You might wanna go to a niketown to try on some IDs if they have your size. I tried on my size there and the IDs fit a little looser on the inside (I think this was also something that was in the Lebron X IDs). Just letting you know before you drop that big amount of cash

Anyone notice the evolution from the lebron 9s to the lebron 11s? To me the X's were an evolution from the 8s design. If anything it should've been 8, 10, 9, 11 (design wises). I guess nike is keeping the design for every other year? It was more simpler with the aj 3-5, 6-8, etc. lol.

PS - big bangs over forged iron XI's all day, it's the small details that counts in a simple color shoe, haven't seen them in person yet but in pics they look like a regular orange shoe (I will say however that the XIs design is better than the 9s). Just my take.

I can't wait to see the Away's in person. I like the red upper, but that crimson sole could either turn me away or pull me further in. My opinion changes by the pic. As it stands they are on the list as a day 1 purchase, but I may change that, cop the KP's when the cash from the Pure Plat sale clears, and sit on the aways for a few weeks, since there really isn't any real need to cop day 1. They should be widely available for months to come. Hopefully I'll know what's up in the next few days. It's just something about red and black sneakers that's hard to resist.

Who cares how or why someone else purchased their pair, it doesn't at all affect how you get yours

True....I never let anyone dictate what I like or want in regards to anything for that matter, I also think people can not like something then change their mind later on down the road too IDC either way it's just the hypocritical dudes that go from one extreme end of the spectrum to the next that really grinds my gears. Those are the guys who make it hard for us who see sneakers early and look forward to the release dates and pray that those who said they didn't want them stick to it but that's never the case anyway.....

When I first saw pics of the King's Pride, I was on the fence about them. But then more pics surfaced, in higher quality and from different angles, and from there the uniqueness of the colorway and the model stood out. They really are a great looking shoe. It's not surprising to see some opinions change as release gets closer and leaks become clearer. At first I was all aboard the hype train for the Gamma blues, but as release gets closer my interest in them is fading fast. As for the guys around here who said they wouldn't touch them and went to extremes to explain why, either they really didn't cop or copped and kept it on the low.

I have 2 pair and would trade one if those have special packaging...the orange is completely different.  Not nearly as bright.

I can see why people change their mind, I wouldn't have bought the King's Prides based on this initial picture.  Quite frankly I highly disliked this picture, and to be fair it's a bad representation and filter of the shoe in my opinion.
