went through with the purchase and the guy screwed me over...
he sent over shoes completely different from the pics in the listing. shoes he sent have no yellowing on the pods and stretched out 23s on the back. now I have to file a paypal dispute...uuuuuuggghhh!
has anyone had to go through this before? how long usually before getting refunded?

File the dispute via paypal. They will contact the seller to try and resolve it. If the seller doesn't respond you can escalate it to a paypal claim. Then paypal will decide whether to give you a refund or not. If they decide to forgive you a fire fund you will have to ship shoes back to seller. Make sure you require signature on the return shipment. Once received they will credit you back in a few days.

Yeah. You should be good. Paypal is pretty good at getting your money back. Going through a situation now. Bought a pair of Js and they were supposed to be 9/10. Came in today looking like 7/10. Sent them back today. Should have my $$$ back next week.

so did you send back right away without even contacting the seller? i'm wondering if i have to wait to hear from the seller, which might never even happen.

I just contacted paypal directly. Told them I was unable to reach the seller. They skipped the dispute from me and filed a claim immediately. So I was able to send them back today. Seller responded shortly after filin the claim. Sent them back. All this happened today.

Nah. He won't be able to keep them. They will require him to ship the shoes back to he sellers confirmed address on file. Once the tracking number is imputed online they will reimburse him when it says it has been delivered.

Just had this happen to me. File a claim with paypal, and even if the seller doesn't cooperate, you'll get your money back. I know it sucks bro. But this is criminal.

bait & switch is popular, as long as you pay attention to details (even if you can't distinguish authentic from GM very easily), you'll be fine.

this process seems to be taking a lot longer than i thought. anything i can do to help expedite it? i opened the claim on 3/28 and it's just now barely being reviewed by paypal. the status says,"We'll contact you with any developments or if we require additional information from you by May 1, 2014"

you have to keep calling paypal to make sure they are on the case. that is what i did. it took them about 2 weeks one time to get my money back but it was worth it. dont worry though, you will get your money back
