Jordan XI Space Jam (2000 version) - December 12, 2026

This has been discussed on Kobe’s though. It’s the JB model of releasing things. If they continued to release every colorway/PE that’s liked/wanted immediately or close to one another, what exactly would that keep the consumer wanting? It’s the long game.

I think it’s a combination of factors. I think it’s price, it’s PE versions, saving in financial crisis, etc. I personally think it’s interest in video games and social media more than anything. Those things are made to be addictive. And parents shove iPads up kids butts from the time they’re really little. So that just contributes to the video game and social media addictions. With that addiction, kids have very little to no interest in sports. The addiction also stops kids from going outside getting regular exercise which that in turn leads to weight gain. Like 1 in 5 kids these days are obese. And obesity increases with age. How are any obese kids/young adults gonna connect with super in shape athlete's and then wanna wear their shoes?
This sounds like my 8 yrs old stuck on the tablet my mother got her I have to cut wifi just for to put it down

I cant wait to see the "these are sitting, Jordans are dead" posts. Looking forward to a pair as always.

The resell culture enveloping the sneaker world after COVID hurts, not even going to lie…All these people who came into the hobby over the past 6 years, simply for the monetary focus, don’t know how to handle the downturn…Unfortunately they’re the very vocal face of things at this point…Wish they’d just permanently move on to something else instead of constantly rehashing the ~sneakers are dead~ talking points…

But I digress, back on topic…

Going to have the most pairs for a Holiday 11 drop since at least the Cool Grey release a few years ago…Production is huge…

Why would JB go the 2000-style route instead of 2016, when they were nearly perfect except for the jumpman color?
The kids that didn't have a chance to cop as a kid have money now as an adult and that's what they remember missing out on.

I for one was hoping that the brand would finally do the movie pair because that version has never retroed before. They were almost there!

I do not mind the guys that celebrate the sneaker on youtube. But the" sneakers are dead" videos are cringe to watch. The same people that spend so much time creating all this content, for shoes, are the same ones saying they are dead. I agree with you, MOVE ON THEN. Let the people that actually like this have it back.

when would pics of the 2026 version likely start to surface.

i'm asking because i've been considering getting a vnds 2016 pair. I wouldn't do a ds pair given how old they are. but i've been holding out to see how these look. if it's the 2000 version but with with the more icy blue sole that we got in 2016, I would just hold out and cop those in december. but it's more of that different colored sole (not sure how to describe it) from 2000, I may just f around and get both pairs.

Should be soon…We’ve gotten early pics anywhere from early June to early July…Most recently Columbia’s was early June, Gamma’s July…Getting close to seeing these for sure…

The Air Jordan 11’s midsole is made of phylon so it won’t crumble like polyurethane midsoles. The only thing you would have to worry about is sole separation. I might purchase the 2016 version next month for my birthday.

You also have to worry about the air bag deterioration. That either needs to be replaced or filled. I've seen restorers primarily use foam though when that happens, it's no longer an "Air" Jordan to me

It just affects comfort if you don’t get it replaced correct?
