So...

Mike D'Antoni didn't know how the NBA Lottery system works...

He admitted, in quote, that he thought in tonight's game "didn't matter" if we won or lost, chances would remain the same.

Yet this is the coach some of you dudes choose to defend!? This dude doesn't even know how the draft system works.

Us not knowing is one thing, we're fans. This guy is being paid 5 million dollars to know these sorts of things, is he not?

Or would he have known if he had Rondo and Gortat? 8o ;)

This dudes a joke.
Exactly the type of post I came to make, right down to Rondo & Gortat making Mike realize. :lol
This is the type of imcompetence I look forward to next season. :hat

There's a very good chance those two are gone by six.

I'm expecting one of Gordon, Smart or Vonleh to be a Laker.

Had we tied with Jazz and Celtics all of us with 4th worst record.. The aggregate of odds that would have to be split up into 3 would mean we'd all be drafting like the 5th worst.

270 combinations / 3 = 90.

5th pick gets 88 combinations

Coin flips only happen when the number of combinations divided by number of teams tied is not an integer

Well.
I'm not a Smart fan but I could live with him.

He's obviously very passionate and cares about winning, opposite of Dwight. He has flaws that P has pointed out plenty of times, but they can be addressed.

No to Gordon. I will never be team tank if all this ******** was to land Gordon.

The Draft Lottery is going to get bigger ratings than the Finals thanks to Laker fans. :lol

When should we tell them that it's on upper management to inform the coach of what needs/should be done? Or should I just let them believe it's on Mike?

You're the nicer guy, you make the call.

Maybe if Mike knew he was staying for next year, he probably would have sat Nick 8o

id take doug collins as coach just so he can get out the got damn tv booth

have him talking about tenderly coddling kobe when he went down and how he use to coach mike. fun times

So then... Our coach purposely stuck it to us because he's not sure of his job security.

Cool. Definitely worth defending.

key word is maybe and everything is up to speculation

maybe there was never any communications between him and upper management.
maybe he just doesn't care anymore.
maybe it's because i never bought a mountain dew yesterday...
