Just went thru an Exum scouting report. He sounds like a Rondo-Westbrook hybrid. They "say" he's developing a mid range game, but can get to the rim and finish with either hand.

Put 33 on Spain as a damn 17 year old. :smh:

And he defends with a 6-9 wingspan. Yeesh.

But here is the interesting part. His father played college ball.

At North Carolina.

With Mike.

That isn't the interesting part.

It's that he's second generation player. How many times we see the son, FAR surpass the average father?????

Cal Ripken Jr, over Sr.
Ken Griffey Jr, over Sr.
Steph Curry, over Del Curry.

LeBron James, over Greg Oden.

Kobe Bryant, Jelly Bean Bryant.

Exum just may be the kid. But still a lot of homework to do.

Seriously though, If ever we end up with the 1st pick. Who would you guys prefer to pick? I am thinking of either Embiid, Exum or Parker.

Parker seems like a safe pick but both Embiid and Exum got great potential as well. Just got a strange feeling though about Exum. :rolleyes

If u get the #1, u have to explore the afformentioned phi/orl deals. If they're willing to listen.

Kobe rockin Ozzie colours...exum is watching :nerd:

All this talk about potentially having two lotto picks is making things interesting. Lakers only made one deal but established talks with phx, Philly, bk and golden state...mix of rebuilding, reloading, under and over the cap rosters. A nice foundation to have when teams start to revisit old convos around draft time. would make it somewhat valuable to have bird rights and be able to sign and trade guys, ending up with "basketball components" instead of salary dumps as Mitch alluded to.

If we somehow end up with one or two of embiid/exum/wiggins/Gordon/vonleh.....yeeesh :smh:

Isn't even the tiniest possibility of us getting 2 lottery picks. More remote than the Island Tom Hanks got trapped on in Cast Away

Kobe's taking notes again, "Let it sit in now, because revenge is sweet and it’s quick."

“This year, we all know it’s been a real tough year for us right?" Bryant said. "So what I’d like everybody to do is to really just sit back and just absorb this year. Take it all in. Sit back and watch and listen and hear all the hate that’s being thrown at us and remember every person that’s kicking you when you’re down because next year it ain’t gonna be this way.

"Appreciate it now. Let it sit in now, because revenge is sweet and it’s quick.”
