Jim Buss running his dad's team into the ground has been very impressive. I'm enjoying this way too much

Peaks and valleys though. I remember the Lakers being diabolical before. Same way that the post-Jordan Bulls were terrible for a few years and then became respectable again.

There aren't many teams who have remained consistently good for a long time. About the only one I can think of is the Spurs and they're definitely the exception.

Late on responding to this, but minus like 3 Lakers fans, most of them have terribly overrated Russell, Randle, Clarkson, and for some reason even Nance JR. Russell is the only one that may have star quality, only cause he tends to carry himself like one. The other 3s ceilings are a more athletic but less aggressive Brandon Bass, a smaller Shannon Brown, and Kris Humphfries. KD/Russ ain't playing with any one of them.

went into the Laker thread to see what's going on it was comedy and :x at the same time, kinda like the NBA season thread ....if any of the young players put up 13 pts or get 10 Rebs then it's or a great game showing that star potential...a bad game is byrons fault tho or he's only 19 , they want it both ways ...

Always loved how delusional /crazy/ defensive Lakers fans get when they suck or not winning championships, the false hope in their young stars is the only thing they can hold on to right now
