and by all means if you're wealthy...not well to do but wealthy (like my lifestlye is gonna change by me being with you)
then by all means get one
but if you making average or slightly above average money...or were both on an even playing field
and you still want me to sign one then we have an issue
you dont see this relationship progressing much after marriage...in fact you believe it will end
so lets save even more money and not even walk down the damn aisle
id rather have an 0-0 record then 0-1
If you you were making Oprah type paper and your husband was an assistant manager at K-Mart, yes you would.Originally Posted by mytmouse76

When I argue about prenuptial agreements, I hear this the most. Its not the fact that the people who are for it believe it will end. My mainreasoning for wanting a prenup making 5k 50k or 500k a year, is because we are HUMAN and its in human nature to change.. and why leave yourself wide open forbs if you can plan ahead? A prenuptial agreement isn't as much about money as people think.. they are just to make divorces quick and easy. If we agreethat if somethin stupid happens, and we split, we agree to put the house on the market, a reasonable visitation agreement etc etc etc.. to me its a safetynet.. people get so caught up in love that they forget humans make mistakes.

That is basically what a prenup is.
