Bringing back Lonzo is only a good idea IF he’s one of the third guard spots. And the expectation is minimal.

Why? Because if he signs for a vet min after being bought out. The Lakers will have trouble keeping him even if he’s 100% because they won’t have bird rights.

So if you get him. It should only be for depth reasons because you’re losing him in 12 months. If he’s a vet min in 2025-26, he was either awful or injured.
