**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

I'm in the minority...

but I don't want Jeanie selling the team. I love that we are mom & pop and family run.

As far as the ORGANIZATION is run, it's fantastic it's such a well oiled machine from an opps perspective.

Great public relations, great facility, well staffed, affordable (UNLIKE CHASE)

Vando should have been doing nothing other than practicing open corner 3 point shots.

I mean Dwight was hitting like 80% of his FTs in practices.

It means nothing. Just because it's a mechanics issue and he's either incapable (which could be legitimate reasons) or unwilling to change it.

Expecting Vando to be practicing corner threes = pipe dream = expecting Jeanie to sell

Better to have “zero expectations”

Good thing you aren’t a gm..Giving all that up for an injury- prone undersized C and overpaid low effort player.
You call Rui, Gabe, Vando, and JHS “all that?”
🤣

What have those 4 guys done as Lakers the last 2-3 years? lol
Good thing you ain’t a GM.

If you think Timelord and Grant wouldn’t elevate this team higher than where theyre currently at as currently constructed then mediocrity must be your thang.

All they’re giving up is one first round pick to obtain two vital pieces that address one of their biggest weaknesses. If that ain’t worth a solid shot at a championship, then it means you ain’t GM’ing to win within Bron and AD’s window

Let’s not act like teams are freely willing to deal with Pelinka ntm the “Laker tax”

If that’s the best deal Pelinka can get, you take it and sacrifice a frp if you have to. Beggars can’t be choosers

Pelinka needs to Have some balls to take calculated risks. Like other franchise owners have done and succeeded.

Wasn’t Porzingis an overpaid and injury prone product prior to going to BOS?

Where have the Celtics gone since acquiring KP? lol

I think if the Lakers are trading away Rui, they gotta get back a center that can rebound and score unless they're also getting a scoring guard.

It's been hard enough getting to score, can't imagine if the team trades Rui for just a defensive center.
