This Lakers team needs to trade for a legit 22-25 ppg scorer because Bron ain’t no longer that man.
Time to Fire Up that Trade Machine cause I can guarantee you Pelinka gonna make moves come December when this team is back in the play-in hunt
For comparison’s sake, look what GSW has done:
They drafted JHS’s teammate Trayce Jackson Davis in the 2nd round and this active big man is now thriving as a starter. Lakers could’ve had him but LAL has scrubs for scouts. What the hell do the Buss boys know, those fools didn’t even play ball in h.s. or college lol
They drafted Podziemski to replace DiVincenzo and Podz is playing great basketball
They acquired Buddy Hield, and dude is averaging 22 ppg leading the team in scoring as Steph’s new Splash buddy
They picked up a gem of a defender in Waters, and unheralded Moses Moody is averaging 11 ppg shooting lights out from deep at 51%
The Warriors are 6-1
What the hell is Pelinka gonna do besides go to Disneyland?!?

I said this before the season, but with basically the same roster as before…minus some end of the bench rotation guys we are going to see some ( a lot ?) of the same unpopular solutions that we’ve seen in the past.
Still early though, so we’ll see…
Would just play Hayes, Knecht, Reddish and Max off the bench. Gabe is small and is not that disruptive on defense to make up for his offense.

I don’t think it matters if you put DLo, AR or Rui on the bench for spark.
They play enough minutes apart as is for it to shake out the same.
It’s 6-10 is so incredibly bad that it doesn’t matter how you do it.
Starters will drag the team as far as they can. But the mix and match lineups will get worse as the year goes on.

It's the EXACT same things that was being discussed last year inside 10 games when Ham moved one to the bench. (Then the other came a few games later)
It worked for a game or two, he got praised, they played well, then it fell off cuz nothing REALLY changed.
Then they all got healthy (healthier) and all moved to starters and everyone in unison "why did it take so long?????"
It's a coach shuffling deck chairs cuz they don't have enough talent on the roster to make a true difference.
JJ is living Ham's life. He gonna try everything he can think of, in the end, it's the same results.
