**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Smartest thing he can do is take this exact same squad into next year. A few tweaks here and there.

I would say you start with
Bron-AD-DLo-Vando as your definites
Beasley as your probably

Then you have like $30 mil in likely salaries (Bamba, Reeves, Rui), 2023 1st from NO (somewhere between 15-22), 2nd and 2029 first in trade bait
Whatever exception they end up with

If they could get a legit 3&D guy and a backup Center that is a fringe starter. Then everything else could be the guys who end up without a market and need a shot.

Hassan or Huff n Puff?

Need an experienced vet for the playoffs.

Jay-Huffa not yet ready

If Lakers pick up Love, they'd have K-Lo and D-Lo

Speaking of D'Angelo, extend him now. He is consistently solid and looks like a championship piece. When you watch him carry himself as a team leader on and off the floor you'd think he already has a ring.

For the experts out there; Is it possible to resign this same whole squad for next year? Is the money there? If we do, we talking about a solid top 4 in the west

No.

Lonnie, Schroder, Wenyen, Troy Brown would be gone. As they probably use their exception on a big.

Otherwise everyone else, yes.

Unless Reeves gets over $11mil then the Lakers won’t be able to keep him because they only have his Early Bird Rights.
